FRANKLIN LAKES, NEW JERSEY: In reality TV shows, the power of words sent through technology can create lasting consequences and fuel ongoing conflicts among the cast members.

In the latest episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 14, tensions escalated rapidly between Dolores Catania and Jackie Goldschneider during the Gorgas' limoncello-themed housewarming party.

The conflict began when Jackie found herself in the middle of several arguments, including one with Margaret Josephs towards the end of 'RHONJ' Season 14 Episode 7.

The situation reached a boiling point when Margaret, from across the room, sent Dolores a screenshot of hurtful comments Jackie had made about her. This only added fuel to the fire as Dolores and Jackie attempted to resolve their differences.

Joe Benigno, Margaret's husband, interrupted Dolores during her conversation with Jackie to remind her to check her phone. Dolores quickly glanced at the message and explained that she was just checking on her dog.

The message was from Jackie, who accused Dolores of purposely not tagging her in a photo from a charity softball game.  This information was revealed through a screenshot shared by Margaret.

“I definitely think intentional. She’s a f***ing slob, and I hate her," Jackie wrote in the message. 

Dolores asked, "Am I a slob?" as she displayed the screenshot to Jackie.

“No, that’s so mean. That’s what she sent you?” Jackie replied.

Shortly thereafter, the viewers of the show started criticizing Margaret for instigating conflicts among the Bravo women, with a significant number calling for her termination.

An X user said, "I cannot stand Margaret Josephs at all. She is the Lisa Rinna of New Jersey. Margaret needs to be fired."

Another user chimed in, "I NEED MARGARET JOSEPHS OFF THIS SHOW. THAT OLD B***H HAS A BLACK SOUL."

Followed by a user who penned, "Marge’s true colors are ON DISPLAY this season, boi! What producers did she piss off because they are showing the real, petty, nasty, mean-spirited, control freak that is Margaret Josephs this season! No wonder why she doesn’t like her edit."

A fourth user quipped, "Margaret Joseph’s makes me wanna claw my eyes out she’s so unbearable that’s probably the meanest thing I’ve ever said or felt abt anyone but she just brings it outta you."

'RHONJ' Season 14 star Jackie Goldschneider tries to defend her actions

 Jackie Goldschneider attempted to justify her behavior after Dolores criticized her insult as "disgusting". 

The Bravo housewife clarified to the 'RHONJ' producers that she was merely commenting on the "situation" rather than targeting anyone personally. She elaborated on her intentions and reasoning behind her actions in a more detailed explanation.

“Slob, to me, it’s not a great thing to call somebody, but it’s not that bad,” Jackie said.

She went on to say, “It just means, like, your behavior is mean and stupid, and juvenile, and petty. That’s what I mean by sloppy.”

Dolores and Jackie were locked in a heated argument over the contents of a text message, with neither of them willing to back down. However, Dolores offered a contrasting perspective on the situation.

 In her confessional, Dolores expressed her disdain for being called a "slob," stating that in her upbringing, it was considered a derogatory term.

“Slob, where I come from, it’s a nasty word. Getting called a slob from the girl who’s a f***ing hot mess almost every day — crying all the time over everything — and I’m the slob? I’m the f***ing slob? OK, Jackie," she said in a confessional.

Did Jackie Goldschneider apologize to Dolores Catania?

Jackie expressed regret for her inappropriate language, and Dolores remained composed, assuring Jackie that she would never speak ill of her in a similar manner.

Jackie then pointed out to Dolores that Margaret had also made disparaging remarks about Dolores and her boyfriend, Paulie Connell, albeit not in written form.

“Well, then she’s smart. She’s a lot smarter than you," Dolores said.
