'RHONJ' Season 13: Melissa and Joe Gorga's podcast 'lies' upset Teresa Giudice and her daughters
JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY: 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 13 is a real doozy. Since Melissa and Joe Gorga skipped Teresa Giudice's wedding in August 2022, their long-running dispute has gotten out of hand. While the legal issues Teresa and her ex-husband Joe Giudice encountered in the past contributed to some of the conflicts between the three, the more recent drama was focused on Teresa and her husband Luis "Louie" Ruelas's treatment of Joe and Melissa.
At BravoCon in 2022, Joe Gorga publicly joked that his stand-up career would outlast Teresa’s recent marriage to Louie Ruelas. Teresa then responded on her 'Namaste B*****s' podcast, saying, "What he just did at BravoCon, that's very mean-spirited, very sad, and I just wish that he would stop talking about us to try to make himself relevant. This is the last time I'm talking about this because there's gonna be a lot of things addressed, obviously, at the reunion. And then, after that, I'm done."
Joe and Teresa got into an explosive fight during the 'RHONJ' season 12 reunion after Teresa called her younger brother a "b***h boy" and dismissively compared him to a Housewife. The argument got so intense between the two siblings that Joe walked off stage, threatening to "quit" the Bravo franchise. As for the sisters-in-law, they have been fighting on and off throughout the series. But Teresa's decision not to ask her sister-in-law to be a bridesmaid added fuel to the fire. Since then, the trio is not on speaking terms and has been avoiding each other, as seen so far in Season 13.

Joe and Melissa's podcast upsets Teresa's daughters
Joe and Melissa have shared some details about their ongoing feud with Teresa on their podcast 'On display with Melissa Gorga'. They have revealed the reason for their absence from Teresa's wedding. During an episode of her 'On Display' podcast, the reality TV star said she and Joe had "a laundry list of reasons" not to attend. Joe, for his part, was seemingly still trying to process what had happened. "I'm just shocked at the way I'm treated by my own family, my blood," he said on the podcast. "That's what kills me. Every day, you have to live a life like that."
In a preview of the upcoming episode of 'RHONJ', we can see Teressa discussing with her daughters Gia and Gabriella that it's unfair that Joe has been claiming that he was there for her daughters. She said, "How can he say he was there for you." And Gabrielle is pretty upset with her uncle for claiming this and says, "Especially when it's not true."
Teresa's daughters unfollow the Gorga kids
Viewers have watched the family drama play out for more than a decade. Their children have been close cousins despite the family feuds. But after so much negative press, fans wonder if the Giudice and Gorga children have been able to ignore their parents’ issues. Teresa’s daughters, Gia and Milania Giudice, have been pretty open about their anger with their uncle Joe over his comments about their father.
According to Reality Blurb, Gia, and Miliania have unfollowed Joe and Melissa on Instagram amid the ongoing conflict between the adults following the disastrous wedding. Melissa’s daughter Antonia has always had a close relationship with her cousin Milania. Their playdates have been shown on the show, and as they’ve aged. But if reports are to be believed then Teresa's daughters may have unfollowed Joe's kids on social media. The family drama just keeps on escalating.
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 13 airs every Tuesday at 9 pm ET on Bravo and is available for streaming on Peacock.
