'Real Housewives of New Jersey': Fans suspect Frank wants to break up Dolores and David to get back with her
Frank and Dolores Catania went their separate ways long ago and are now seeing different people, but that doesn't stop them from continuing their healthy friendship. But, viewers suspect Frank has been trying to get back to Dolores and his actions are proof of it.
For the past couple of weeks, Frank has been trying to assess where Dolores and David Principe stand in their relationship. Last week he questioned David on his intentions with Dolores and what they were thinking of as the next steps. David was very clear that they'll both take it as it comes and see it through step by step, there's no rush. On the other hand, Dolores is very clear that she'll not move in with David unless there's a commitment - it could be in the form of a ring or her name in the legal documents of the house they are building together.
Interestingly, as part of the after-show segment, Frank admitted that even though Dolores might be in love with David, they're not on the same page. Dolores too said that Frank approached her with his assessment of David and said: "Don't expect more." This shocked Jennifer Aydin, who then went on to point out that David has been making an effort lately but Dolores is being undecided.
"You know I think that the effort is limited. To tell you the truth. And I'm not one for pillow talk or b******t," she told Jennifer, who questioned if she would want to get married and if yes, would it be on her terms. Dolores came back with a prompt yes. Meanwhile, Frank is concerned that the house is done and soon David will move and then, Dolores will have to make a decision about her future with David.
While this seems like a perfect, healthy friendship, in which one friend is looking out for another, but viewers are of the opinion that Frank has been using subtle tools to break the Dolores-David bond. Some even labeled him as "jealous."
"I think #Frank is constantly tryna force the commitment thang cuz he knows it makes #David uncomfortable. Maybe Frank *wants* to break up #Dolores & David? #RHONJ," a fan expressed.
Meanwhile, there's a section of viewers who are rooting for Frank and Dolores and want them remarried. "I desperately need Frank and Dolores to get remarried. I NEED IT #RHONJ," a user tweeted, while another wrote: "Watching Dolores & David is awkward! She blatantly wants him to propose but u can see that he's not willing to make a commitment! Let's see if there still together once Frank finishes DAVID'S house! Still want Frank & Dolores back together! #RHONJ."
David has been very diplomatic about his answers related to Dolores and his relationship. But maybe he'll take the next big step in his own time?
