'Real Housewives of Dallas' Spoilers: D'Andra Simmons and Kary Brittingham fight over party planning
Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, the housewives may not be able to go on their luxury vacations or throw huge parties, but that definitely doesn't mean that the ladies are ready to forego having fun. The previous episode of 'Real Housewives of Dallas' featured housewife Kameron Westcott throwing a St Tropez-themed birthday party for Kary Brittingham.
From having hot male models walking around shirtless and serving the guests to dancing on tables, the ladies let their hair down and had a blast. But Kary's isn't the only birthday party that's marked on the housewives' calendars. Brandi Redmond's birthday too is just around the corner, so D'Andra Simmons decides to throw a party to celebrate her fellow housewife's birthday.
While Kameron got St Tropez to Dallas, D'Andra decided to whisk the ladies away to a pretty vineyard and have a wine-tasting tour to celebrate Brandi's big day. We see the ladies learning about the wines and exploring the vineyard while having fun. But things seem to have gone south when we see all the ladies sitting at a lunch table, while Kary and D'Andra take jabs at each other. D'Andra can be seen calling out Kary for critiquing the party she threw, by saying that her takeaway from the entire experience has been to criticize every little aspect of a party thrown by her fellow housewives.
Kary snaps at D'Andra and asks her to stop being negative. But it looks like D'Andra isn't ready to back down. Things between D'Andra and Kary have been rocky of late. Both the ladies constantly threw shade at each other in earlier episodes, so we wouldn't be surprised if this blows up into a huge fight. Aside from locking horns with D'Andra, the upcoming episode will also feature Kary learning about her daughter Olivia's mental health struggles. In the preview clip, we see Kary expressing shock and surprise on receiving a text from her daughter saying that she was afraid she might do something to herself.
Kary feels sad and disappointed with herself for not picking up the signs hinting at her daughter's struggles, which would have ensured that she got all the help she needed to cope with her depression. The upcoming episode looks extremely interesting and fun, we can't wait to watch how things pan out.
'Real Housewives of Dallas' Season 5 airs every Tuesday at 9/8c only on Bravo.
