‘Real Housewives of Dallas’: LeeAnne sends housewives text invitations 10 days before her wedding and fans can only say it's 'tacky'

RHOD fans wonder if LeeAnne even wanted the other housewives to attend her wedding, as she sent out text invites to them just 10 days prior to the wedding.

We have heard LeeAnne talk about her “dream wedding” forever, and now that it’s finally here, we couldn’t be more excited. Sadly, the housewives aren’t as excited about the upcoming wedding. In an earlier episode, we saw LeeAnne boast about how weddings in Texas are a big, extravagant affair. The bride pulled out all stops to ensure that her wedding would be the talk of the town, sadly she seems to have neglected one key piece- the invites.

The bride sent out text invitations instead of a paper invite, and the housewives weren’t pleased about it. Brandi Redmond, Kary Brittingham, and D’Andra Simmons meet up for drinks and when the topic of their fellow housewife’s wedding pops up, each of them had something to say about it. D’Andra who received no invite for any of LeeAnne’s wedding celebration events makes a remark about it. While Kary comments about how she didn’t like that the guests received an invite just 10 days before the wedding and that too through text. D’Andra was shocked to learn that and asks Brandi if she too received a text invite, Brandi replies yes. Then the ginger-haired housewife tells how she thinks its “tacky” to send text invites for the wedding.

Fans too appear to agree with Brandi and think that it was indeed a “tacky” move on the part of the bride to do that. A fan tweeted, “I have to agree with Brandi - a text invite 10 days before a wedding is TACKY AF #rhod can't blame these ladies for not wanting to go IF LeeAnne really wanted them there they would have got real invites”. Another fan wrote, “A text invitation to a wedding is so classless. #RHOD”. Few fans think that the bride didn’t want them at the wedding, so she sent out text invites. “A text wedding invitation, 10 days before a wedding is tacky. It means they don’t actually want you there  #RHOD”, pointed out a fan. A fan joked, “The only reason LeeAnne sent out those tacky text invites is that she saw that there was still some stuff on her registry that nobody picked up. #RHOD”.
