In the season finale of ‘Real Housewives of Dallas’, we see things blowing up on LeeAnne’s face, but the housewife’s reaction to it has left fans feeling unsettled. This season saw LeeAnne expose her racist side when she went on a rage-filled rampage of calling new housewife, Kary Brittingham a “Mexican” on multiple occasions behind her back. Kary finally learns about the 52-year-old housewife’s racist tinged remarks from Kameron and Stephanie.

Kary then confronts LeeAnne about her comments, and the housewife had the nerve to make it all about herself instead of owning up to her mistakes and apologizing for her comments. LeeAnne defends herself to Kary by telling her that she grew up with a Mexican family, so she doesn’t consider her comments to be racist. Then in her green room interview, she boasts about how she slept with multiple Mexican men. And to make things worse, she says she even sat in the lap of Julio Iglesias. But sorry LeeAnne, but Julio is Spanish, and Kary was left feeling more upset seeing her callous attitude.

D’Andra tries explaining to LeeAnne that what she said was unacceptable in this day and age. Instead of reflecting on her actions, LeeAnne lashes out at her by taking a jab at D’Andra for spreading rumors about her husband, Rich being unfaithful without any evidence. LeeAnne appears to be hell-bent on burning all her bridges.

Just earlier we see LeeAnne saying she will never accept the accusations of her being racist and being unapologetic about her comments. It took Kameron’s firm talking down, which finally pushed LeeAnne to dish out a half-hearted apology to Kary. LeeAnne’s apology sounded more like a demand than an apology when she adds “take it or leave it” at the end of her so-called apology.

Kary obviously leaves it, following which LeeAnne walks out while mumbling that she is “not affected”. In her green-room interview, she drops a confusing statement, saying, “I do bad things, but am not a bad person”.

After watching the finale, fans were left feeling convinced that LeeAnne is a racist, and were disgusted with her unapologetic attitude and deflection. A fan tweeted, “The fact that the first scene of Leanne wasn’t full of tear and remorse over her disgusting comments shows that she doesn’t see anything wrong with what she said! She’s one million percent a racist #RHOD”. Another fan wrote, “I’m watching #rhod tonight really hoping LeeAnne will say I’m sorry I was wrong and I will do better and not attempt to explain justify any of the comments she made about kary #RHOD #teamKary #bravo #wwhl @BravoWWHL @Andy”.

Several fans called out LeeAnne for deflecting when D’Andra pointed out her racism. A fan commented, “LeeAnne comparing D’Andra’s comments about her husband to her derogatory comments about Kary shows how delusional she is. Those are not even remotely the same #RHOD”.

Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “LeeAnne comparing today’s climate of racism overload to D’Andra suggesting that Rich was cheating is just more of the ignorance. There is no “climate” for cheating spouses. Racism is alive and thriving & is in a totally different ballpark than infidelity. #RHOD”.
