Season 4 of 'Real Housewives of Dallas' landed housewife LeeAnne Locken in hot water, after she made some racist comments about her new fellow housewife Kary Brittingham.

On multiple occasions, LeeAnne referred to Kary as "Mexican" and "chirpy Mexican". What made things worse was her unapologetic attitude about it.

During the reunion, when everyone confronted her for her awful comments, she didn't even seem remorseful or apologetic about her actions. She just made a generalized apology statement, which the fans conceived as a move to protect her image rather than being repentant of her actions.

Fans began demanding that LeeAnne be fired for her racist comments after watching the show. Following all this drama, LeeAnne announced during an interview that she would be leaving the show, and not be returning for Season 5.

She said, "The last four years have been a trolley-slapping good time but after much consideration, I have made the personal decision to step away from RHOD." The reality star revealed that she would be using the time away from the show to travel, spend time with her husband and family, and most importantly on her philanthropy.

Just as we were beginning to wrap our heads around 'RHOD' without LeeAnne, former housewife Cary Deuber dropped another bomb.

Cary went live on her Instagram, and when the topic of LeeAnne's exit from the show popped up, she casually remarked that LeeAnne was "fired like me". So, maybe the showrunners were paying heed to the fans' demands for firing the racist reality star.

Cary appeared on 'RHOD' as a housewife since Season 1. She left the show after Season 3, stating that she wanted to focus more on managing her husband’s plastic surgery practice. She returned to season 4 as a friend of the housewives and was spotted during LeeAnne’s wedding celebrations.

All along we thought that Cary left the show on her own terms, but now we know that the former housewife was fired, just like LeeAnne. While it is safe to assume that LeeAnne might have been let go due to her racist comments, we wonder what made the showrunners give the pink slip to Cary.
