‘Real Housewives of Orange County’: Fans slam Vicki Gunvalson for calling Braunwyn 'trashy' because she kisses women
On her very first episode of ‘RHOC’ we saw new housewife Braunwyn getting on a table and dancing alongside fellow housewife Tamra Judge. Soon the new housewife began unleashing her wild side when she kissed Tamra multiple times and revealed to the ladies that she occasionally had threesomes with her husband. While we were all intrigued by the new housewife’s very interesting life, former OG housewife Vicki Gunvalson, had other thoughts about it.
We saw Vicki express her dislike of Braunwyn’s “inappropriate behavior” a few times on this season. During this season’s reunion, we saw the former housewife lash out at the new housewife for being “trashy” and “classless” because she kisses women.
Fans were taken by surprise with Vicki’s remarks towards Braunwyn considering she had nothing to say about her dear friend Tamra Judge, who was the new housewife’s kissing buddy on several occasions. A fan tweeted, “vicki saying it’s not ok for braunwyn to kiss other girls on “her show”, yet tamra has done that multiple times 👀 #rhoc #rhocreunion”. Another fan wrote, “So why is Vicki constantly judging Braunwyn but not saying anything to Tamra who had homegirl’s tongue all down her throat #rhocreunion #rhoc”.
“Vicki is a hypocrite. Tamra gets naked so much that all #rhoc fans can point out Tamras fake boobs in a lineup. The only thing that is different is that Tamra didnt take your orange #rhocreunion”, observed a fan. Another fan commented, “So Vicki thinks Braunwyn is trashy & disgusting for kissing women & being naked on camera ... but her bestfriend is Tamra, who did the same exact things? 🤔 #RHOC”.
Many fans detected homophobic undertones to Vicki’s statements and began wondering if she was one. A fan wrote, “Why the hell is Vicki Gunvalson having such a conniption about a woman kissing another woman? #RHOC shows men and women literally in the bath together, but two women kissing is too much for her to handle? Smells like homophobia to me #RHOCReunion”.
Another fan tweeted, “Vicki just tried to use her tenure on the show to be a homophobe to Brownwyn. That was a nasty thing and @Andy just sat there and let her get away with it???? #RHOC #RHOOC”. “So vicki thinks that kissing other women should only be done off camera?! Hmmm so judgemental. If you dont like it then get off the show and the network cause love is love baby girl #RHOC #rhocreunion”, pointed out a fan.
