‘Real Housewives of Orange County’: Fans slam Vicki Gunvalson after she says she 'doesn't get drag shows'
The Orange County housewives are having the time of their lives in Key West, Florida, and when you’re in Key West everybody knows you cannot miss the famous drag shows put on by the fierce drag queens. So, the housewives made their way to a drag show.
Gina Kirschenheiter felt like she was back home when she went to the show, and the other housewives thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the brilliant performance put on by the queens. While all the housewives were busy cheering on the queens and enjoying the show, there was one housewife who had her nose turned up - Vicki Gunvalson. The former OG housewife who has now been demoted to “friend of the housewives” seemed thoroughly unimpressed and uncomfortable at the show. She even made a comment that she “doesn’t get drag shows”, and it didn’t make sense to her to watch “boys dress as girls” and dance around. Throughout the show, she kept making disgusted faces and couldn’t wait to get out of there.
Obviously the fans were furious with Vicki’s ignorant and poor comments about drag queens and the drag show and took to their social media to call her out. A fan tweeted, “Of course Vicki doesn’t get drag queens and the meaning of doing it. Nothing short of offensiveness but I don’t expect anything like acceptable from someone living in Orange County California 🤣🤣🤣🤣Gina needs to give these ladies a lesson #RHOC”. Another fan wrote, “#RHOC Vicki is the most disgusting person! Why should she care if “boys dress as girls” as she put it... she changed her whole fing face!”.
Several fans called out the former housewife for her distasteful comments. A fan tweeted, “You don't get drag Vicki? Boys and girls dressing up as the opposite gender? Oh, I guess only you and your bimbo friends are allowed to get fake boobs, fake noses, botoxed fake faces, fake tans, etc. to look like something you are not, huh? #RHOC”. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “Is Vicki serious? Wtf don’t you get about drag? Her “higher than thou” attitude can F off. #rhoc”. “Well, who would have known that Trump supporter Vicki doesn’t “get” drag shows 😑 #RHOC”, commented a fan.
Many fans wanted her off the show for making these “homophobic” comments. A fan shared, “Vicki is homophobic. She said she doesnt get drag queens. I want her off my tv. #RHOC”. Another fan wrote, “Ugh get vicki off my screen, if you cant appreciate the art of drag then "bye b*tch" glad that braunwyn took your orange. Drag shows > sheet mask anyday #RHOC”. “There Vicki goes with another ignorant comment about "not getting drag queens". You know what I don't get? Substantiating a cancer scam! #RHOC”, pointed out an angry fan.
