'RHOC' Preview: Kelly, Emily think Braunwyn was better when drunk as sobriety makes her 'overexaggerate' things

Now that the cat is finally out of the bag about Braunwyn Windham Burke's alcoholism, the housewives had a rather interesting reaction when they learned that their fellow housewife was battling addiction. When Braunwyn first realized that she was an alcoholic, she reached out to Emily Simpson. Emily was the first person to point out to Braunwyn that she could be having a drinking problem. Back then, Braunwyn snapped at Emily and began behaving coldly towards her for saying that, but now she wanted to come clean and apologize for it.

Emily was glad that Braunwyn recognized the problem and was working towards addressing it. But fast forward to a few weeks later, and Emily can be seen sitting with Kelly Dodd and expressing that Braunwyn was better when she was drunk. In the preview clip for the upcoming episode, we see Kelly Dodd sheepishly expressing that she liked Braunwyn better when she was drunk, Emily agrees with Kelly. She then justified her response by pointing out how Braunwyn was using her problem as an excuse to treat Gina Kirschenheiter poorly and to justify her erratic, over-the-top behavior. Kelly agreed with Emily's assessment and felt that Braunwyn "overexaggerates".

We aren't sure how Braunwyn will feel about two of her friends thinking that she was better when she was drunk. Shannon Beador, on the other hand, was very kind and emphatic towards Braunwyn when she learned about her alcoholism. Shannon went out of her way to show her support and love for Braunwyn. But when Braunwyn went around telling people that Shannon called Gina's place "sad and depressing", Shannon lost her cool.

In the upcoming episode, we will continue to see Shannon and Braunwyn maintaining their stance on whether Gina's house was called "sad and depressing" or not. While Braunwyn swears on her kids that Shannon did say that, the former tres amigas member insists that she never said it. Shannon can also be seen expressing concern over her friendship. During a conversation with her boyfriend - John, Shannon tells him that she can't maintain a friendship with someone who calls her a liar. Looks like the friendship between Braunwyn and Shannon has come to an end.
