ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: Heather Dubrow vented her displeasure about the paparazzi chat with Terry Dubrow on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' Season 18, Episode 5. Heather was furious that Gina Kirschenheiter did not do anything to stop the debate from continuing, despite the fact that her genuine nemesis is Katie Ginella, and viewers appear to agree wholeheartedly.

"Why did Gina allow that to happen?" Heather questioned.

Gina arrived at the Dubrow home as they were chattering about her, which felt appropriate. Gina instantly apologized for the issue with Katie, indicating that she was aware she was in trouble with Heather.

"Now I’m just confused and irritated," Heather told her friend. “I would expect you to tell her it’s not okay." All Gina did was be the person to "bring" Katie into the group of friends, which we really know was ultimately a casting decision.

On X, fans wrote, "That’s right Heather. Clock Gina. Yesss !!!" Another person chimed in, "Waittt. I really thought Gina said if you don’t tell Heather about the paparazzi issue that she’ll tell it !"

One user also tweeted, "I thought Gina told Katie during last week’s episode that Katie has to talk to Heather about the paparazzi situation or else she will tell Heather herself?" Af fourth person concluded, "gina sides with heather because shes her rich friend. cant lose those fringe benefits!"

Viewers also wrote, "I’m glad Heather is calling Gina out because she was being so messy." One person added, "I clocked Gina in S16. She’s always been a questionable friend to Heather, and this situation makes it even more clear. Why would you not tell Heather in Dec that Katie tried to obtain this information on her before she came into the group ?"

Katie Ginella digs deep into 'RHOC' co-star Heather Dubrow's paparazzi story

The former golf reporter gave an explanation of her initial motivation for contacting her paparazzi contact in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. She said that after seeing a TikTok video purportedly showing Heather phoning a photographer to set up photos, she contacted a close friend who also happens to be in charge of "a paparazzi operation."

Additionally, Katie said, "I said, 'Is this true?' Like, 'Settle this for me.' I thought it was funny, because him and I have such a deep relationship — we're really good friends, we talk about a lot of celebrities that call him — so it's just banter, and he responded, 'Yes,' and then called me and was like, 'Why do you want to know this?' and I was like, 'I don't know, I thought it was funny,' 'cause we talk about this a lot."

When Katie brought up the screenshot on the show, she made it clear that she wasn't trying to rile up Heather.

"I wasn't looking for something, I didn't come in with ill intent to hurt Heather or look for information on Heather," she added. "I'm not jealous of her. I'm not obsessed with her. I'm not coming for her. It all just happened, and it was confusing to me, all these things that were domino-ing."

'RHOC's Heather Dubrow questions evidence presented by newbie Katie Ginella

The conflict between 'RHOC' newcomer Katie and seasoned fan Heather over paparazzi is becoming more complex. In Season 18, Episode 4, the orange holders got into a little spat over Katie's assertion that she had text message receipts demonstrating that Heather and her husband, Dr Dubrow, had summoned the paparazzi to snap pictures of them the year before.

Heather swore on the lives of her four children and denied ever having contacted photographers. Katie, in the meantime, displayed the screenshots that seemed to show her buddy the photographer verifying Heather's call.

However, Heather strengthened her denial on the August 1 episode of 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen'. Andy Cohen, the host, questioned Heather about whether Katie had given "convincing evidence"—a screenshot—that Heather had contacted the paparazzi.

"From some rando named Mark when I swore on the lives of my children?" Heather pondered. "Yeah, no."

Heather made the observation, "We've only sort of heard from the prosecution," as the audience was undecided about whether to trust her or Katie's narrative. "Now we have to hear from the defense."

Gina Kirschenheiter claims she lost faith in 'RHOC' newbie Katie Ginella

Since filming 'RHOC' Season 18, Gina and Katie's friendship has deteriorated.

"I have a friendship with Katie at this point, but I don’t have a hundred per cent trust. I think Katie knows that and understands that," Gina told US Weekly on July 30. "I’m not really one to just throw away friendships. Like, I will move through them and work through them."

She added, "I think that it’s really hard to come into this group of friends and acclimate and find your footing. So, I grant grace there, but I also haven’t seen how bad it is, so we’ll see."

"It’s so hard to watch. I just watched the episode, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m scared.' It’s hard to watch," Gina revealed to the outlet.

"And it’s kind of scary just for Katie. I’m like, 'You’re really barking up a redwood here.' It was ambitious of her and I give her credit for that. But, it also was hard because they were both my friends, so I kind of got caught in it."

'RHOC's Katie and Heather dispute will play out "down the road," according to Gina. Gina's relationships with both ladies are even more impacted by the turmoil that follows.

"There are [also] certain decisions that Katie made that were very surprising to me, and it didn’t bode well with me," Gina stated. "So I don’t really know what all of that was about."

She continued, "I'm actually interested to watch it as well and see what was actually happening when I wasn’t there. To this day, some of it, I just still simply don’t understand."
