'RHOBH': Will Sophia Hutchins and Caitlyn Jenner join the show? Sophia recalls discussing it with her agent
With Denise Richards' exit and the firing of Teddi Mellencamp from Bravo's hit reality show 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', two housewives spots were up for grabs. Fans began speculating and even suggesting potential replacements for the upcoming season of the show. One name that kept popping up time and again was none other than Caitlyn Jenner and her girlfriend Sophia Hutchins. Considering the rich experience Caitlyn has of appearing on reality shows, many felt that she would be a great addition, while girlfriend Sophia would help in giving us an insight into their new life together.
For a brief period, there were rumors of the couple being signed up to appear on the show. Although, unfortunately, those rumors turned out to be just that -- rumors. During a recent interview with popular podcast host David Yontef, of 'Behind the Velvet Rope' fame, Sophia revealed that she was interested in joining the show, and even discussed it with her agent. She said, "I reached out to my agent maybe like a month ago about, 'Hey, what does it look like to do the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? What does that process look like? I think that would be a really cool fun show to do."
Before the executive producer of the show, Andy Cohen squashed the rumor, Sophia even reached out to former housewife, Eileen Davidson, to learn more about joining the cast! Although it seems like Sophia Hutchin might have to hold onto her dream of becoming a housewife for a little longer, she still firmly believes that she could relate to a lot of housewives on the show. She explained, "I think Andy knows what's best for the franchise, but I think it would be fun to put like a younger person in there because I think like I could relate to a lot of the Housewives in the sense that everyone's a hustler everyone's in this business, everyone's building brands for themselves, or has built brands for themselves. And I have an old soul, I think it's fun to be around older people."
In the same interview, Sophia also touched on her relationship with Kris Jenner, while laying down all the rumors about a feud between Kris and Caitlyn to rest. "There’s this misconception out there that Kris has a feud with Caitlyn & I -- I am so close to Kris, I speak to her all the time, if there's ever a concern or ever a question or anything I have needed help with Kris would be the first phone call -- she’s a mastermind and a lot of fun socially!"
