'RHOBH' alum Denise Richards 'nervous' to walk into Kyle Richards' ‘cuckoo’ dinner party
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Denise Richards made her much-awaited comeback to 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' on Season 13 Episode 5 on November 22. Denise is finally returning to 'RHOBH' this week; producers were reportedly hoping for lightning to strike twice at the table.
We had the now-iconic Dinner Party from Hell in Season 1. In Season 13, we'll have the Weed Supper of Subterfuge and Trickery.
It's meant to be a dramatic evening, with Kyle Richards hosting a THC-heavy party. Denise and Camille Grammer are allowed to show their faces again now that Lisa Rinna has removed her pot-stirring spoon and left. Denise described the supper as a 'cuckoo' setting, and this is from a woman who has seen things. The Messenger provides exclusive insights into the event.
Denise and Annemarie Wiley later join Kyle's THC-infused dinner at her Encino residence. While Crystal Kung Minkoff doubts her capacity to get along with a 'nosy' Annemarie, Erika Girardi doubts Denise's tolerance for their cannabis-infused meal.
"Are you down to have this dinner with the THC?" Erika inquires, then busts out laughing at the 'Two and a Half Men' star's incoherence.
Denise is spilling the beans at the start of a highly (pun intended) anticipated 'RHOBH' meeting. "Let me tell you, I was there last week, and I'm coming back next episode," she was quoted as saying. Basically, if Denise, who has no incentive to promote this program, believes it's strange, it must have been truly out of the ordinary.
"It was a little cuckoo episode," she continued. The devil's lettuce apparently did a number on our beloved ragamuffin. "I can't do that sh-, and people think I can because of my ex," Denise said.
Denise Richards returns to 'RHOBH' after Season 10
The previous diamond holder reconnected with the women of 90210 while attending Garcelle Beauvais' movie screening, and her arrival surprised several guests.
Denise was last seen on 'RHOBH' when she made a stunning escape during the Season 10 reunion. On Wednesday night's show, however, the actress appeared to be in better spirits as she backed Garcelle at her celebration.
"Thank you for inviting me," Denise said as she hugged Garcelle, to which she replied, "Of course."
Denise did not just welcome Garcelle with open arms. She also gave a kind greeting to Erika and Crystal.
Dorit Kemsley updates 'RHOBH' viewers on her friendship with Denise Richards
While the diamond holders appeared to be genuinely happy to meet Denise again, Dorit Kemsley was taken aback to find herself in the same room as a former cast member.
"I haven’t seen Denise in years, and then our contact kind of became less and less and less," Dorit said.
Though Denise and Dorit haven't kept in touch in recent years, the pair appeared to be having a good time, with Denise even fangirling to the fashionista over Garcelle's acting abilities, saying, "I forgot how good of an actor she is," trailing off with a laugh, adding, "You're really good."
When will Denise Richards return to 'RHOBH'?
The mother of three will not be a full-time cast member of 'RHOBH,' but she will appear on the show on occasion. In fact, Garcelle recently told BET that Denise's cameos made Season 13 "really fun" for her.
"Denise was great to come in because she's already familiar with the ladies — she understands the dynamics and has some crosses to bear," Garcelle was quoted as saying by the newspaper. "She held on to a couple of things she wanted to get off her chest, which she did, and I'm proud of her for it."
