‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Season 12 reunion to be filmed 'virtually' due to coronavirus crisis
While we do enjoy watching the show, it’s usually the reunion which is the best part of the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise. The reunion which is held at the end of every season features the housewives sitting together in a discussion moderated by the executive producer/ host Andy Cohen. The housewives hash out the issues they have against each other and also answer some very interesting questions posed by the fans based on various instances from the season.
The reunion episodes of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ have always been extremely entertaining to watch, from fights involving snatching of the wigs to reading your enemy to filth, these ladies sure bring in all the drama. Season 12 was jam-packed with drama, thanks to “snakegate”, “cookie lady”. “spitgate”, and of course the split up between Kenya Moore and her husband Marc Daly. So, fans were eagerly looking forward to the season’s reunion to see the housewives address these issues. Unfortunately, coronavirus got in the way of filming.
Several fans were concerned that the much-awaited reunion might be canceled, but thankfully Andy confirmed that it hasn’t been canceled just postponed. Fans came up with novel suggestions like filming it remotely or doing it via skype, so that they wouldn’t have to wait for it long. Looks like the showrunners have heard the fans for housewife Kandi Burruss revealed in a recent Instagram Live story that the reunion would be happening "virtually".
As we wait excitedly for the reunion, we can’t help but wonder about all the drama and reads that’s in store for this season. NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore have already dropped several hints that they are more than ready for the reunion, as they should be considering most of the drama this season stems from these two housewives feuding with each other.
So, we can be rest assured that the epic fight between NeNe and Kenya will certainly feature during the reunion. In fact, during a recent appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ , when NeNe was asked is there was anything she’d like the group to address during the reunion, NeNe simply said, “Everything, honey. Everything. It’s gonna be read session time.” She also added, “Come on, Miss Ken… practice your reads, girl.”
Kenya isn’t sitting quietly either. She teased her fans on Instagram by posting a picture of a bowl filled with receipts. She declared, “RHOA Season 12 reunion will be epic.” She then revealed that she would be exposing “fake friendships” on the show. “The truth about all these fake friendships will be exposed. Secrets have been kept way too long. All the snakes’ heads will be cut off. My receipts are ready,” wrote the former Miss USA.
We can’t wait to see these two ladies going at each other. Aside from taking on NeNe, Kenya will also have to answer several questions about Marc Daly. Fans were left feeling disgusted and horrified with the way he treated Kenya. So, we can’t wait to hear Kenya’s two cents about the situation and respond to other ladies’ (especially NeNe, Marlo, and Porsha) comments about her marriage.
