'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 12 reunion postponed due to coronavirus scare, fans say 'do it on Skype'
If you thought that you could use this quarantine period to binge-watch on the upcoming 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 12 reunion and bask in all the drama that it has to offer during this grim period, we are sorry to break it to you that you might have to wait a little longer.
When one of the fans' tweeted to executive producer of the 'Real Housewives' franchise Andy Cohen asking him if the reunion of 'RHOA' would be airing as usual after the finale, or would be postponed/canceled due to coronavirus, he replied saying that it has been postponed.
Andy wrote in his tweet, "Postponed! Omg we all need something to look forward to. And you will get it!"
Fans were eagerly looking forward to the upcoming reunion to see the housewives go at one another after all the drama that went down during the season.
The ongoing season has managed to keep fans at the edge of their seats with the infamous snakegate, cookie lady drama, Kenya Moore and Marc Daly's divorce announcement and the upcoming NeNe and Kenya feud which will feature NeNe threatening to spit on the former Miss USA.
A new date for the reunion hasn't been announced yet. Fans took to their social media to express their disappointment with the reunion being postponed.
A fan tweeted, "@Andy The only upside of being quarantined was looking forward to those reunions.." Another fan shared, "@Andy This reunion was going to be fire. Please make it quick before they make up in the name of corona. I need the drama."
"@Andy Postponed for how long? Ballpark it, Andy. Cmon! I was looking forward to the draggation of the twirly one. We put up with that ego this whole season and was lookin forward to our reward," demanded another fan.
Fans are more than ready for the reunion and don’t seem to be keen on waiting for it, so they came up with some interesting solutions to get the reunion out in time.
"@Andy Hear me out.....what if you had your first digital reunion? Everyone could set up at home, the screen could be split like the Brady bunch. You could ask your questions and mute people who interject into questions that aren't directed to them. It would provide excellent clarity," suggested a fan who clearly isn’t willing to wait for the reunion.
Another fan suggested the same solution saying, "@Andy Thank god! I don't care if they have to Scream On Skype, we need these simple pleasures to sustain us!"
"What’s this about Andy! Can't they just be seated 2 feet away from each other," joked a fan.
