‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: Marc brings the Ken out of Kenya and fans prefer it over her nasty twin self
One of the things that set Kenya Moore apart from the other housewives is her feisty and petty nature. The self-titled 'shade queen' can be quite a handful and often causes chaos thanks to her unapologetic attitude. Who knew her husband Marc Daly is the one person who can check her and ensure she behaves well.
On the latest episode of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’, we saw Marc and Kenya making preparations for a charity event hosted by Marc. Prior to the event, Kenya hosts a couples bowling game for the housewives and their partners, so that Marc could meet them all and bond with them. However, our resident shade queen invited NeNe Leakes’s husband Gregg Leakes and not her. However, the couple finally shows up towards the end of the bowling party, and when Kenya tries to be her usual self and throw shade at NeNe, Marc cuts her off.
He addresses her as “Ken”, and asks her to “rein it back in”.
He forces peace between NeNe and Kenya by speaking on behalf of his wife Kenya aka Ken, and keeps checking Kenya each time she tried to pull a fast one. Fellow housewives Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss were left chuckling with amusement when they saw how Marc controlled the usually dominant Kenya by calling her Ken. They also noticed how she wasn’t her usual self and was very quiet and just agreed with whatever he said.
Fans too noticed it, and seem to prefer Ken over Kenya. A fan tweeted, “I like Ken much better than Kenya #RHOA ROFLMAO.” Another fan wrote, “The world likes Ken more than Kenya #periodt #RHOA.” “Kenya has met her match I love “Ken” #RHOA,” shared a fan. “Can we have “Ken” around more often and send Kenya back to the Mean Girls Kingdom that she resides in.... #RHOA,” wondered a fan.
Fans also seem to be in awe of Marc after watching how he gets Kenya to behave well when he is around. A fan shared, “Marc Daly is a cool ass dude in my opinion. And he can make Kenya shut up and actually be somewhat tolerable, even if it’s just for a brief moment. I’ll take Ken over Kenya any damn day. More of Ken, less of Kenya makes this show a whole lot better. #RHOA.”
Another fan expressed, “Let’s replace Kenya with Ken. Kenya is a bully, she’s a narcissist and she’s awful. Ken, on the other hand, is actually kinda nice and tolerable. Marc makes her shut up and I absolutely love it!!!!! #RHOA.” “Marc runs the relationship. I like KEN better than Kenya. #RHOA,” observed a fan. “Ok cool so KEN can come back next season but not Kenya #RHOA,” declared a fan. Another fan joked, “Hey ladies better take notes!! When Kenya acts like Kenya, just call her “Ken”. She’ll shut the hell up. #RHOA.”
