The Tuckers recently welcomed home their third child, Blaze Tucker, on November 22. RHOA housewife Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker had Blaze through a surrogate named Shedina. Their surrogacy journey has been well documented on this season’s ‘RHOA’. When the couple announced to the world that their little girl was named Blaze, many wondered about the story behind such a usual name for a baby girl.

We now have our answer, which is also one of the sweetest stories. Kandi and Todd took their three-year-old son, Ace, to the hospital to see the surrogate so that he can be a part of the whole experience and understand it better. Ace was excited to see his sister’s head on the sonogram. He showed all signs of being an amazing big brother, he told everybody in the room that he would carry his baby sister, play with her, and even change her diaper. When the adults playfully asked him if he had any name picked out for his sister, he immediately responded with ‘Blaze’.

Fans were surprised and glad to learn this backstory behind baby Blaze’s name. A fan wrote, “So they let Ace pick his baby sister name that’s cute #RHOA”. Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, “So Ace named the baby! #RHOA”. “I bet Ace got the name from Blaze and the Monster Machines. 'Cause 3 y.o. boys....  #RHOA”, commented a fan.

Fans were in aw of Ace’s excitement. A fan wrote, “Ace is such a big smart boy. He handled everything so well & got to name his baby sister! #RHOA”. “@Kandi is just so calm and level headed. Ace is adorable and really sweet. I love how he chose the name Blaze and is excited about his sister #RHOA”, expressed a fan. Another fan complimented, “Seeing this surrogate journey with Kandi/Todd it really brings a whole different perspective... and for Ace to be involved & picked the name out for his baby sister its amazing #RHOA”.

‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 12 airs every Sunday, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo.
