We admit that Kenya Moore and Marc Daly’s relationship isn’t the easiest to watch in ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’. When the former beauty queen is around Marc, she isn’t her usual self. Kenya trades her sassy and feisty self, for a more submissive and passive “Ken”, when she is with him. While Marc always speaks down to Kenya and we can’t help but feel like he is resentful of her every time he looks at her.

While we have got used to seeing their dysfunctional relationship play out on our screens, we never expected to witness Marc being so harsh on Kenya. In the latest episode, we saw Marc throwing a charity event for young black men. He enlisted Kenya’s help to plan all the logistics and even dress him up. Even though she put together everything, he didn’t even have the courtesy to acknowledge or thank her.

At the event, all the men go on the stage and give their speeches. Marc goes on with his speech, but doesn’t mention Kenya or thank her for being there for him, whereas Cynthia Bailey’s fiance who goes onto the stage after Marc, sings praises of the women present there and pays his respect to them. This gesture hurts Kenya when she realizes that her man doesn’t even respect or acknowledge her.

Later, when somebody asks Marc how does he feel being married to Kenya, without a moment of hesitation, he says that he “hates it” and everybody knows it. The entire evening Marc kept being disrespectful and condescending towards his wife, who was only trying to help him.

As soon as the event ended, Marc began snapping not only at his wife but also the production crew. He threatens the crew to stop filming and then we don’t see the video footage but can hear the audio. We hear Marc announcing that he’s out and nobody would ever see him again. Later, it is revealed that Marc and Kenya announced their divorce separately the very next day.

After watching the way Marc treated Kenya, fans couldn’t help but feel that he used her for fame and platform to promote his own brand and bounced as soon as he got what he wanted. A viewer tweeted, “Marc is an opportunist.  He used the marriage with Kenya for exposure on the show for his own person advancement. Now he’s trying to drag her down in front of everyone but we can see him for who he truly is. Women can’t be desperate for relationships either next time.. #RHOA.”

Another viewer wrote, “So Marc came on the show . had his event just to divorce Kenya Rolling on the floor laughing yeah sounds like he came got them folks money and gone bout his business #RHOA  #cloutchaser.”

“So like we can all agree that Kenya’s husband was just with her to get on TV, right? Regardless of your feelings on Kenya...Marc is such an asshole. #RHOA,” commented a fan.

Even fans who do not like Kenya felt that Marc did her dirty. One of them said, “You don’t have to like Kenya but we can all agree Marc did her dirty. Who says they hate marriage especially on camera? #rhoa.”

“Now it’s VERY clear.  Marc USED Kenya to get his brand out and then divorced her the next day!! SMH 🤦🏼‍♀️  #rhoa,” shared another fan.

A viewer pointed out, “Did Marc just say he hated being married to Kenya? Did he snap on the producers too? WTF? He really used her for that platform. Smh... #StraightTrash #Kenya #RHOA #Marc.”
