'Renovation 911' 2023: Who is Kirsten Meehan? Meet the restoration expert who wears many hats
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: After the success of its various series like 'Property Brothers', 'Renovation Inc', 'Flip and Flop', HGTV is back with another house restoration series 'Renovation 911'. The upcoming series will premiere on Tuesday, March 28 at 9 pm ET and will feature emergency restoration experts and sister duo Kirsten Meehan and Lindsey Uselding.
'Renovation 911' will see Kirsten and Lindsey embark on a quest to fix property disasters. The HGTV series will mark Kirsten's debut in the world of television as she rescues houses alongside her sister. Kirsten is a multi-faceted woman as when is not working in her family business she likes to travel to different places with her husband and two children. Who is Kirsten Meehan?
Kirsten is an entrepreneur and estimator. She began working at Ungerman in 1998 as a summer job painting and doing demolition. She began working full-time as a project manager after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. Kirsten enjoys assisting homeowners in making the changes they've always wanted to make to their homes.
Kirsten grew up along with her sister Lindsey surrounded by family in Edina and followed in her elder sister's footsteps by going to the same university. Kirsten is married and has two children and likes to spend her spare time with her little family. Apart from Ungerman, Kristen co-owns Practical Homes with her sister. Kirsten has also worked as a high school sprint coach at Edina High School for 4 years before taking her position at her family firm.
When she is not working Kristen can be found traveling to different places with her family or enjoying short trips to the museum with her kids. Kirsten has a lot of interests and likes to spend her free time reading, golfing, and hanging out with her loved ones. Kirsten is also interested in cooking and likes to try out new recipes whenever she has the time.
Kirsten Meehan on 'Renovation 911'
Kirsten will feature as one of the hosts of the home renovation shows on HGTV's 'Renovation 911'. The first season of the series will have 8 episodes each being an hour long. She and her sister, Lindsey, will rescue and restore homes that have faced some disaster. Throughout the season the sister duo will assist families affected by fire, crashes, floods, fallen trees, and other natural disasters. Later on, in the season the tables will turn as one sister will become the client after her home is destroyed by a hail storm.
'Renovation 911' will premiere on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 9 pm ET on HGTV. It will also be available to stream on discovery+
