In the gripping finale, Nell embarks on a mission to save the Queen at any cost, leading to a fierce showdown with the formidable Earl of Poynton.
Despite her valiant efforts, Nell starts to falter as Poynton gains strength from Thomas Blancheford's (Jake Dunn) corrupted soul.
Sofia Wilmot (Alice Kremelberg), desperate to undo the dark spell, is drained of her powers. Realizing the dire situation, she informs Nell that the spell is slowly killing Thomas by stopping his heart.

Nell doesn't kill or punish Thomas or Sofia. Instead, she lets them go by adding that they must have a life on the run. Before leaving, Sofia warns Nell that she will "not forget this".
Later, the Queen clears Nell of Lord Blancheford's murder and pardons her and her associates of all charges.
She even offers Nell the role of Captain of the Bodyguard, but Nell declines, requesting instead the charge of her late father's pub, which had been unjustly taken from her.
It's a happy ending for Nell and her sisters who set back to the pub they call home. However, the survival of Sofia and Thomas hints at lingering danger. Should a second season arise, they may return with grander schemes and formidable magic.
