Reality TV never fails to entertain. Watching people on TV going about life, doing relatable things on television sometimes serves as validation for audiences sometimes and maybe that's the reason the popularity of these shows doesn't seem to dwindle anytime soon. People who appear on these shows are as popular as movie stars, their social media following will prove that. However, fame is a double-edged sword and there are times when keyboard warriors come off too strong with vitriol laced opinions.

Here's a round-up of celebrities that had it the worst, one of them even committing suicide when things got too tough to handle.

Late Hana Kimura of 'Terrace House'

(Netflix)

Hana Kimura began as a fan favorite. Everyone was rooting for her and Ryo Tawatari's relationship to happen and when Ryo didn't reciprocate causing Hana to breakdown on the show on multiple occasions, the entire fandom wept with her. In those low moments, she was supported by fellow contestant Kai Kobayashi and people began to stan them immediately, happy for both of them. However, Hana in a moment of rage snapped at Kai as he ruined her $1000 costume wrestling outfit, even knocking off his hat from his head. This was when the audiences turned on her and massively bullied her online for treating the man who gave his all to make her smile when she was low.

On the day of her death, the Yokohama native tweeted, "Every day, I receive nearly 100 honest opinions and I cannot deny that I get hurt." She also tweeted, "Thank you for giving birth to me, Mom. I wanted to be loved in life." Shortly before her death, she posted a picture of herself and a cat on Instagram with the message "I love you, please live a long and joyful life. I'm sorry." Jessica Batten of 'Love Is Blind'

Jessica Batten continues to draw flak from 'LiB' audiences. On the show, she was seen treating her then-fiance, Mark Cuevas, the man who stayed truly loyal to her till the end even after her many shenanigans. This also included the time she tried to have one last shot at establishing a relationship with Barnett who was by now engaged to Amber. She was also seen giving wine to her dog and the last straw was when she ghosted Mark at their wedding.
