Jenna Ronan, who was just 17 when she found out that she was pregnant, has a different kind of story than some of the other current and former moms on ‘Unexpected’. While her pregnancy forced her to drop out of her conservative Catholic high school and opt for an online high school instead, she and boyfriend Aden have the emotional and financial support of her dad.

Jenna mentioned on the show that she thought she would pull a Kylie Jenner and keep her pregnancy a secret and give birth before any of her peers found out about it. That didn’t happen and once her peers found out, they were talking about her as her friend informed her. 

Of course, their story isn't full of easy roads, but compared to what it could be, Jenna was able to progress with her pregnancy a bit more easily than some of the other young moms featured on the show, thanks to her dad. According to her Instagram, Jenna and Aden are still going strong as they raise their baby boy together. 

After an onslaught of attacks from ‘Unexpected’ viewers, Jenna Ronan decided to defend herself. Jenna said she does look spoiled but that she was also hormonal due to her pregnancy and going through a lot. As a matter of fact, she said that every girl going through this has a lot of challenges to deal with.

The ‘Unexpected’ celeb said that people need to learn their boundaries. Many fans agreed with Jenna and felt people were out of line. However, others stuck to their opinions and said that they were only stating what they saw and she should be ashamed of herself.

Some of the backlash she received on Twitter stated, “Jenna’s Dad seems like a nice guy, but if you want a road map on how to create a bratty spoiled teenager who doesn’t respect you look no further than their relationship. A new car? Really? She gets everything and appreciates nothing — it’s shameful. #unexpectedtlc #unexpected.” Another wrote, “I've started fast-forwarding through Jenna's segments on #unexpectedtlc. I just can't stand her spoiled, bratty, and entitled attitude!”

Jenna got especially upset when people started commenting about her baby saying that she would make a bad mother, “I'm not sure what Jenna will do when she has her baby & realizes that the baby is gonna get all the attention & she will no longer be number 1... she will actually have to share and put her kid before herself...It's going to be a very rude awakening....” Another wrote, “Lol I f**king hate her.”

Whatever the case, it looks like Jenna is doing great and is happy with her baby’s father, Aden Albright. As a matter of fact, her son, Luca Albright, looks happy and healthy and seemed to enjoy the holiday season. They even put on Christmas pajamas and looked adorable in matching outfits.

Jenna admitted she didn’t act great on the first episode of the show. And fans commented about how terrible it was that they didn’t know men didn’t ovulate. Some noted how reckless Aden was about the lack of safe sex knowledge.

Fans watched Jenna pitch a fit over not getting a car for her birthday and said it was overdue. Many felt she was acting spoiled. It doesn’t seem like Jenna disputes her bad behavior and fans think they might give her a break since she was pregnant.

In fact, many viewers of ‘Unexpected’ understand the pressures of being a teen mom. However, it still looks like Jenna might have a lot more unpleasant comments to deal with as the show moves forward.
