ABC just dropped the first episode of their new show 'Queens' and it sold to audiences like hot cakes! 'Queens' is the latest musical drama to hit our screens and it was quite the spectacle!

The ABC show will follow the comeback of four friends who used to rule the hip-hop world once upon a time but are now tragically forgotten. 'Queens' will see plenty of drama, interesting backstories, and a whole lot of swagger as we have witnessed from the first episode. The ABC show seems to have hit the nail, with audiences loving it already. Here's what happened and what fans thought of the new drama.

The pilot episode titled '1999' opens with the four main characters being introduced. A comparison clip shows their wild before and dulls after. Brianna(Eve) used to rock it out but now she's a mom to four kids and married to a cheating husband. Jill (Naturi Naughton) is a married woman of the church who is cheating on her husband, turns out she's gay and unhappy. Naomi ( Brandy) is a washed-up musician who's trying to hold on to her musical roots. Valeria ( Nadine Velazquez) is a TV host, the only successful one in the group. The foursome who used to be the 'Nasty Bit****' just aren't so hot anymore and that's the sad reality. Circumstances change when one day their song is played on the radio as a throwback which leads them to get a job as a sideshow for a trendy singer, earning them some cash and a break from their sad life. At first, the gig was at risk of not happening as Naomi and Valeria reignite an old fight over their manager. Things get patched up later on as the four reunite after 20 years. The group sees hurdles but finally takes the stage once more for an epic performance with Brianna declaring," I used to be a Nasty Bit**, but tonight I'm a queen". The Season premiere of ' Queens' had a fabulous start. Here's how fans reacted.
