SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Episode 12 of 'Queen of Tears' delivers a cliffhanger that will leave you desperate for answers. The Hong family's search for Chairman Hong Man-dae's (Kim Kap-soo) hidden fortune finally leads them to a mysterious room. 

Further, Hong Beom-ja's (Kim Jung-nan) emotional breakdown after her father's sudden passing highlights the tragic consequences of fractured relationships. Witnessing her loss without ever having a chance to reconcile adds a layer of immense sorrow to the episode.

Despite the loss the Hong family continued their search, with Baek Hyun-woo managing to find the secret room of the chairman. Here's a glimpse into what to expect from 'Queen of Tears' Episode 13.

What happened in 'Queen of Tears' Episode 12?

In Episode 12, we see the story unfold from Yoon Eun-seong's perspective, as he uses lies to try and win over Hong Hae-in. Meanwhile, Baek Hyun-woo narrowly escapes a murder attempt by a shady broker.

Hong Hae-in's memory loss continues to be a source of heartbreak as she visits her grandfather, who doesn't recognize her. Eun-seong further manipulates her by claiming he saved her as a child.

Hyun-woo and Hae-in share some sweet moments, but her memory issues make things difficult. We also learn a shocking truth: Chairman Hong Man-dae has been faking his illness all along to keep Moh Seul-hee in check.

The race for the hidden fortune heats up as both Hyun-woo and Eun-seong desperately search. The episode takes a tragic turn as the Chairman, pressured by Suel-hee, takes his own life before Hyun-woo finds the secret room.

What to expect in ‘Queen of Tears’ Episode 13?

The preview opens with Hae-in discovering a pen containing a voice recording from her grandfather, the Chairman. His heartfelt message leaves her tearful as she says a final goodbye to him.

Meanwhile, tensions soar as Beom-ja accuses Seul-hee of orchestrating the Chairman's demise. But the latter's tearful response leaves the situation shrouded in mystery.

The rivalry between Eun-seong and Hyun-woo takes a bittersweet turn as Eun-seong declares his unwavering devotion to Hae-in, leaving Hyun-woo burning with rage as he stares Eun-seong down. 

The audience will get to witness another glimmer of hope as Hae-in and Hyun-woo will be sharing a heartfelt moment, crying and laughing together. 

However, there is a high chance that Episode 13 will take a suspenseful turn as a trap is set for Eun-seong. Blinded by his obsession with Hae-in, he ignores his mother's warnings and charges forward. This could have devastating consequences, with Hae-in potentially getting caught in the crossfire.

Meanwhile, there are hints of a bombshell from Hyun-woo as he is about to confess a hidden truth, but who will be the recipient of this secret? Will Hae-in ever experience a moment of peace with Hyun-woo, free from sadness and fear?
