Adding to the excitement, the streaming platform treated fans to an exclusive sneak peek with a first-look clip. Produced under the banner of Kevin Hart's Hartbeat, ‘Prom Dates’ is set to grace our screens on Friday, May 3.
What is ‘Prom Dates’ about?
‘Prom Dates’ follows the heartfelt journey of two lifelong friends committed to making their senior prom an unforgettable experience. With the imminent night and recent breakups in the mix, they face the challenge of finding new dates to honor a year-old pact and turn their childhood dreams into reality.
In the exclusive clip released on Tuesday, March 12, we see Kenny Ridwan's Greg putting together a special and slightly embarrassing banana-filled proposal to surprise Julia Lester's Hannah.
The official synopsis reads, “Prom Dates follows best friends Jess and Hannah, who made a pact at 13 to have the perfect senior prom. Despite the impending changes that college will bring over the next four years, the two are committed to honoring their prom pact.”
It further adds, “But with only 24 hours left before the big event, everything falls apart when they break up with each of their dates. Jess and Hannah are left with one night to find new dates and live out their middle-school fantasies.”
