LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: 'American Idol' week 2 auditions have featured some amazing rising talents from across the States and many have impressed the judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie. Some went to Hollywood with their original songs like Jon Wayne Hatfield and some due to their raw talent. And one singer who received three yes' is Nutsa Buzaladze from Georgia.

Nutsa, who previously competed in 'X Factor Georgia' and 'The Voice', impressed the judges with her amazing vocals. And while the fans appreciated her singing, they felt betrayed by the fact that she's already a professional singer and famous in her own right. Many have slammed her for doing this as a stunt to gain more followers.

Luke Bryan dubbed Nutsa 'J-L0 from Georgia'

Nutsa auditioned by singing the Moulin Rouge version of 'Lady Marmalade', and the judges were left in awe of her voice. All three judges thought her performance was worthy of sending her to Hollywood and commented that there were some beautiful moments there. Lionel Richie claimed, "You nailed it."

Luke Bryan wanted to know what Nutsa did in Dubai and though he thought she is very flashy he said yes to her. Katy added, "You just need to be you, and more real." Luke also said Nutsa should go to Hollywood, "The J-Lo from Georgia, Yes!"



 

Fans believe Nutsa 'doesn't need to be on 'American Idol'

While Nutsa advanced to Hollywood and won the judge's heart's with her amazing performance, the fans were left angry after they found out she is a singing competition veteran and is very popular on Instagram. One fan said, "352,000 followers on Instagram. And she already has professional music videos, and awards, and was first runner-up in a Dubai singing competition show. #AmericanIdol is just another gig/resume builder for her." Another one added, "She is a professional and doesn’t need to be in this competition." One more said, "I have a bigger issue that she’s already a professional singer. Looking at her Instagram." 

Fans were disappointed with this turn of events and believe that Nutsa is on American Idol just to gain more followers. One fan commented, "I’d guess she’s doing this for clout/followers. She doesn’t need #american-idol-coverage." Another one said, "Why is she here?" One more fan said, "Why is she on American Idol?" 

'American Idol' 2023 airs every Sunday on ABC at 8 pm ET.
