With each passing day, Ezra Miller is making sure that his acting career gets buried six feet under the ground by doing something that shocks the entire entertainment industry. These recent weeks haven’t been ideal for Miller and the upcoming movie DC movie ‘The Flash’. The actor has been arrested on two different occasions in recent times and was taken into custody on the charges of “disorderly conduct and harassment”. Since then, fans have been asking Warner Bros to replace him and have someone else as the fastest man alive.

Earlier, fans wanted to Grant Gustin to play the iconic comic-book character in the upcoming movie, but a new name has entered the race, and it's none other than Elliot Page. Page is undoubtedly been one of the finest actors working in Hollywood right now and his performance in Season 3 of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ has made everyone believe that he will be the perfect choice to play Barry Allen.

One of the fans wrote, “Just want to take this moment to say Elliot Page would make a great Barry Allen, in case there's ever a need to, you know, cast a new Flash, for whatever reason.” Another fan wrote, “Elliot Page can do better than The Flash. Thanks though.” Another social media user tweeted, “I feel like some people are just fan casting Elliot Page as The Flash because they like him and wanna get rid of Ezra Miller. But I genuinely think he could pull it off.”

“This is honestly a pretty solid casting choice. I could see Elliot Page pulling off a solid Flash,” wrote another one. “I never knew I needed a casting more in my life!!! Elliot Page for The Flash!” said another one. “Elliot page could totally pull off Barry Allen flash when Ezra inevitably is fired. Don’t really see him as a comic flash, but the flash Snyder set up that seems to be continuing into the new movie could totally be Elliot,” wrote another social media user.

Meanwhile, one of the fans noted, “Yup, Elliot would be great. Elliot is known for his witty sense of humor and incredibly masculine physique. 5 foot 1 flash is the hero we all can get behind.” Another fan tweeted, "Saw someone mention that The Flash should be recast as Elliot Paige earlier and now I'm obsessed with the idea. Not only does it keep a genderqueer actor in the role, but Elliot's no stranger to superhero outings (X-Men and Umbrella Academy), and is all-around great. Need this."

Page’s performance as Viktor Hargreeves in ‘The Umbrella Academy’ has played an important role in making fans believe that he can play The Flash effortlessly. The actor is not new to the superhero world and apart from ‘The Umbrella Academy’, he has played a superhero in the world of Marvel as well. The ‘Juno’ star previously played Kitty Pryde in the ‘X-Men’ movies that were produced by Fox.

With Warner Bros. making it clear that Ezra Miller will not be a part of any future projects, the production company has the huge responsibility of casting an actor who can do justice to the role. As far as ‘The Flash’ is concerned, WB is committed to a big-screen release for the $200 million superhero flick. A report suggested that it would cost too much for WB to scrap the movie.

'The Flash' is still set to premiere in theaters on June 2, 2023.
