LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Heather El Moussa has bemoaned a short maternity leave that forced her to shooting for 'Selling Sunset' Season 7 on her Instagram.

El Moussa rose to fame with her stint on 'Selling Sunset'. The Netflix series focussed on high end Los Angeles real estate brokerage Oppenheim Group selling the luxe life to affluent buyers in LA.

'Selling Sunset' star Heather El Moussa posted an interview on her social media.

"I definitely was a workhorse trying to keep up with my husband. I was filming two TV shows up until I was nine and a half months pregnant and so about to have the baby. After I had Tristan, things calmed down for me because i wanted to protect my son, our family and my peace.

"It has been a really tough transition back into work for me because I love being a mother, as a step mom but being a mom to a new born and an infant now, I wanna spend time with him and I am obsessed with him. But I also love working, I love my job and it was like three weeks after having Tristan that I was back at my job."

Heather was asked to finish filming just three weeks after giving birth to her baby son Tristan. That's when she decided that it was becoming a challenging situation for her and she needed to be with her infant.

She later said, "I don't think a woman should go back to work before four months."

The internet was all praise for her stand.

A user commented, "I love this woman! so proud".

Another user shared her experience and wrote, "I am so glad you listened to yourself and took that step back to enjoy those early days. You just don't get them back. You are blessed to be able to do that, and have the support system to keep your family first. I, agree, 4-6 months, even for us career women, should be a viable option for all the families. I remember when I had my son 27 years ago, I asked my boss if i could take an extra week because it was Thanksgiving week and we were travelling. He said no. Looking back i am still angry about it. It's so crazy to think about it now because i would never stand for that nonsense today."

Another commented, "YES SCREAM AND PREACH IT HEATHER".

In 'Selling Sunset' Season 7 that premeired November 3, 2023, her screentime was reduced and she just had occasional apperances as she was on her maternity leave.

She told People that she wanted peace in her life and spend some good family time and step out of the drama that 'Selling Sunset' brought to her life.
