Starz delays 'Power' Season 6 Episode 9 and we really need to know what Tommy does to Ghost and Tasha
'Power' season six is the last one in the series, and we are just a couple of episodes away from saying goodbye to the show, and Starz is making us wait?
There is just too much for the show to explore and to leave is hanging the way they did is just heartbreaking.
The last time we saw Tommy (Joseph Sikora), he was devastated. The woman he loved, possibly the only woman he ever truly loved, was shot dead just as he was planning to propose to her, and who killed her?
Well, her childhood best friend, of course. Tommy is yet to find out that Keisha (La La Anthony) was murdered by Tasha (Naturi Naughton) though, and he may blame this death on his former BFF, Ghost (Omari Hardwick).
Keisha did complain to Tommy that Ghost wants her out. One violent man who tried to scare Keisha away from Tommy had even claimed that he was sent by Ghost.
We know he did not, but Tommy and Keisha have a tendency to blame all their problems on Ghost. Regardless, Tommy wants revenge and is probably going to seek it from Ghost.
In the trailer for the upcoming episode titled 'Scorched Earth', we hear the grieving would have-been-fiancé tell Ghost ominously "it is", when his former partner tells him that it is all going to be over soon.
Carrying the weight and darkness that the penultimate episode of 'Power' should, season six episode nine is going to focus primarily on revenge, but not just Tommy's.
From the looks of it, Tate (Larenz Tate), is going to exact revenge on Ghost too, for pretending to be his ally while seemingly laying the groundwork for his political career.
Not only did he switch ships to launch his own career, but he also exposed Tate as a fraud, and got his campaign manager to flip sides as well. Forgiveness isn't on the cards for a long time.
It is heartbreaking that we have to wait for one more week, until Sunday, October 27, for Season 6 Episode 9 of 'Power' to drop on Starz.
