'Power' Season 6 Episode 9: From Tommy to Tate, everyone will be gunning for Ghost in 'Scorched Earth'

While we know that LaKeisha was killed by her childhood BFF turned mortal enemy Tasha, Tommy seems to think that Ghost was behind it.

We are suffering from 'Power'-less blues still, thanks to Starz not giving us a new episode last Sunday, October 30. Thankfully, though, the wait is finally over, and we will get to watch Season 6 Episode 9 of the drama on 27 October, and boy does it promise to keep you glued to the edge of your seat.

As we saw in the previous episode, two of Ghost's (Omari Hardwick) former allies are pretty furious with him, and by furious, I mean filled with murderous rage. Tommy (Joseph Sikora) just lost the love of his life, and he found out about it immediately after he bought an engagement ring hoping to start a family with her. While we know that LaKeisha (La La Anthony) was killed by her childhood BFF turned mortal enemy Tasha (Naturi Naughton), Tommy seems to think that Ghost was behind it.

Keisha had warned Tommy time and again that if they did not leave the streets behind them, Ghost will end them, and she believed that he would go to any lengths to remove them as obstacles.

Tommy seems to have inherited this assumption from the late Keisha, and he now wants blood for blood. It is clear from the trailer that he is seeing red and looking to spill red. He wants to end it all.

However, Ghost is a reformed man now, he is thinking before he acts, and more importantly, he is thinking like a politician, which brings us to the next man who wants Ghost dead or at least really, really broken - Tate (Larenz Tate). Ghost used to be his muscle-man, and if Ramona (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) had her way, his running mate in the elections. However, Tate underestimated him, Ghost flipped and not only did he flip, he exposed Tate as the dirty politician that he is. While he was supposed to be Ghost's ticket out of tough situations, and possibly his son's way out of the streets, he is tired of answering to him.

Ghost has embarked on his political journey, and we think that is going to be the story for 'Power 2.0' but before that, he will need to take Tommy and Tate down once and for all.

We are excited to see the final arc in Ghost's journey in 'Power' with the upcoming Season 6 Episode 9 titled 'Scorched Earth', which will be aired on Sunday, October 27.
