'Power' Season 6 Episode 8: Will Tariq finally pay the price for all the bridges that he has burned in 'Deal with the Devil'?

Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) has made one stupid decision after another and even double-crossed all his powerful allies and, yet, he still lives to tell the tales

Everyone seems to be paying the price for their actions over the last few years in Season 6 of 'Power' with both Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) inching closer to their potential doom.

While the FBI is closing in on Tommy and the bridge he uses to keep the Italians at bay is withering away, Ghost seems to be mastering the art of slipping away. But we all know there are only two ways out of the world they helped create—in cuffs or in a bag.

A single mistake and it could be game over for them.

At the same time, there is Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) making one stupid decision after another, double-crossing one powerful ally after another, and he still lives to tell the tales. Having proved to his father that he cannot be trusted, and even showing Uncle Tommy that the Tariq he loves like a son no longer exists, Tariq is truly alone.

He should have listened to one of the many times Ghost asked him to back off from the drug world and make a life for himself in compliance with the law instead of weaseling his way into a world he is not mature enough to be a part of.

He finally seems to have understood that he is not as smart as he thinks he is, and that his actions have consequences, and more often than not, he is not going to like those consequences.

However, in the trailer for the upcoming Season 6 Episode 8 of 'Power', we see Tariq running his mouth again and we fail to understand why he hasn't been put in his place already.

While we are on the topic of characters who need to be put in their place, how is Dre (Rotimi Akinosho) still breathing?

This backstabbing, conniving man who seems to find himself in the face of death time and again has escaped narrowly every single time.  Both Dre and Tariq are characters 'Power' fans want to see dead, and for some reason, the Starz show seems to be in no hurry to do that.

Tune in to Starz on Sunday, October 13, to find out if Season 6 Episode 8 titled 'Deal with the Devil' may prove to be an unlucky episode for either or both of them.
