'Power' Season 6 Episode 8: Will Ramona convince Ghost to continue working with Tate?
Ghost (Omari Hardwick) is feeling the pressure from all sides and is desperately hoping to catch a break.
From the murder of his girlfriend to the betrayal of his son, his personal life has been a mess for a while. Now, with the FBI looking for just the right thing to pin on him—and his former best friend vying to take him down—things aren't that great on the professional front either.
In the upcoming Season 6 Episode 8 of 'Power', we may see Ghost trying to stop working with Rashad Tate (Larenz Tate), primarily because he needs to take care of other business. But Tate may yet have a secret weapon up his sleeve.
We learned in the last episode that Ramona (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) has a little crush on Ghost and he may take the bait if Tate's right-hand woman makes the move on him.
As of now, it seems to be a one-sided attraction, but we know how quickly those things can change on 'Power'.
In the trailer for the upcoming episode, we see her laying it thick for Ghost and Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.), talking about how both of them are capable of achieving whatever they put their minds to.
Tariq's expression was as unreadable as ever, and it definitely does seem like everyone that once loved him is done with him.
Ghost is at his wits' end trying to convince the boy to stay away from the streets. Tommy (Joseph Sikora) is done trusting him and no longer sees him as family. LaKeisha (La La Anthony) knows that he is no longer the boy she knew and helped raise. And, at this point, even Tasha (Naturi Naughton) has given up on him.
We are starting to get a serial killer-y vibe from him at this point as well. Is he just going to kill everyone?
One of the reasons Ghost continues his association with Tate is for Tariq's future. Being connected with the politician would help his son get places and have opportunities he never had.
But with Tariq's refusal to accept any of his advice, he may just give up on him and cut the business association with Tate as well.
It remains to be seen if Tate will use Ramona's attraction towards him as the bait to reel Ghost back in.
