'Power' season 6 episode 3: As Tariq builds his empire and Ghost's torture continues, LaKeisha seems set to meet a bitter end

Fans have been pretty irritated with LaKeisha's character lately, having no idea what it means to live the criminal life, but trying to immerse herself in Tommy's life

The bitter battle for power and revenge continues in season six episode two of Starz's 'Power' which aired on Sunday, September 1, in what is arguably one of the best episodes of the series so far.

While we saw Ghost (Omari Hardwick) failing to see the truth about Tommy (Joseph Sikora), the episode ended with him learning that not only did he not kill Tommy, but his estranged wife Tasha (Naturi Naughton) — whom he assumed he made peace with — was playing him, much like Jason (Mike Dupod), who demanded $100,000 every two weeks in exchange for damaging his business aka killing Tommy, which he knew did not happen.

Ghost realizes that he has been played well and good, and his torture is going to continue in the coming episodes. In the trailer for the upcoming episode three, we see him lamenting about being dirt poor. Meanwhile, his son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) is building a mini empire at Choate, getting his roommate to work as his dealer.

This is clearly leading him down a dangerous path, and as one of his fellow students points out, he is perpetuating the stereotype about black men, and ruining the chances of other black people in the school. That being said, he does have his father's charm and convinces the same girl to join in his operation, and despite her initial inhibitions, she does join him.

The one character that truly surprised us in the last episode is Tasha, who, as it turns out, arranged everything for her rival's funeral. She is also seen contemplating certain thoughts about Ghost being out of the picture. She definitely seems to believe that she and her children may be better off with him out of the picture?

It remains to be seen if she actually means it, but she definitely is a friend to Tommy over Ghost at the moment, something that LaKeisha (La La Anthony) doesn't seem to be all that happy about.

Fans have been pretty irritated with her character lately, having no idea what it means to live the criminal life, but trying to immerse herself in Tommy's business. She is also trying to be everything that her former BFF aka Tasha is not, and that is definitely not going to work out in her favor. Fans predict her death, before the end of the season.

Don't forget to watch season six episode three of 'Power' which airs on Sunday, September 8, to find out what lies in the future for Tariq and Keisha.
