FX's Pride Month special 'Pose-A-Thon' just aired on the network and it was a wild ride of love, positivity, solidarity, support, awareness and history. Hosted by Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez, the special saw some of Pose's finest musical numbers renditioned by the stars who managed to win fans' hearts once again, just the way the very songs performed on the show for the first time had. It was, however, Porter's ensemble finale of 'Love Yourself' featuring the whole cast together that blew fans' minds with some calling it "just the healing energy" they needed, while others are craving for FX to make 'Pose-A-Thon' an annual event every year.

The finale saw Porter start out with a monologue of how he was slammed for his authenticity first and added that it would go on to become his "liability". At the end of the monologue, he asserted that he is the living proof that it is that very "authenticity" that will take one places. What followed was Porter bringing the whole cast together, live from their homes on the split-screen as he began belting out 'Love Yourself' — a song that was first featured on the FX show in 2019.

Almost everybody from the cast, who appeared in the special, hopped on the screen to take part in the ensemble finale and that included 'Pose' producer Steven Canals and Janet Rock along with the star cast of Rodriguez, Angelica Ross, Angel Bismark Curiel, Sandra Bernhard, Dyllón Burnside, Dominique Jackson, Jeremy McClain, Indya Moore, Jason Rodriguez, Hailie Sahar, Ryan Jamal Swain, Charlayne Woodard and Patti LuPone.

Naturally, fans were beyond thrilled, and shared that excitement on Twitter, with one user writing: "OMG, that ensemble finale! This was just damn good TV, while also educating people about the critical issues our society is wrestling with. If you didn't watch it tonight, I promise you will be hearing about #poseathon tomorrow. Just the healing energy I needed." Another tweeted, "Just watched #Poseathon and so much of it had me in tears, especially 'Love Yourself' by Billy Porter. I am thankful to #Pose for all that I have learned since it began and love everything about it, especially the cast and the gritty realness. Can't wait for season 3!"

Asking everybody to witness the glory of 'Pose', a fan wrote: "In honor of #PRIDE2020 and the remote celebrations all over the world, have this from Billy Porter and the #PoseAThon — and if you get the chance to watch the special, do it. You'll cry, and sing, and learn some LGBTQIA+ history." Fans also tweeted how "My heart is full. #POSEATHON was inspiring and heart wrenching. The category is Revolution," and "Nothing exemplifies pride better than that last song on the #POSEATHON." Almost as if speaking for the entire fandom, a user also suggested: "Can they do this every year? It's what the world needs!" And they aren't wrong!

Both seasons of 'Pose' are available for streaming on Netflix.
