Porsha Williams has supposedly returned to the 'Housewives' franchise, according to People. The former 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' actress will join the cast of 'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' Season 3 in lieu of Tinsley Mortimer.

The new installment of the iconic franchise will begin production on July 18 in Thailand. Williams will appear on the show with 'Real Housewives of Potomac' actress Gizelle Bryant and her co-star Candiace Dillard-Bassett. Though Peacock has yet to reveal the whole cast, it is said to include Leah McSweeney from 'Real Housewives of New York City,' Whitney Rose and Heather Gay from 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,' and Marysol Patton and Alexia Nepola from 'Real Housewives of Miami.' According to the insider, the actors have already been seen packing their belongings and boarding their planes on July 14.

Another insider told Page Six that the next season might be jam-packed with drama, "Porsha and Candiace are expected to clash as Porsha took Monique Samuels’ side in the women’s explosive feud on 'The Real Housewives of Potomac.' There’s going to be a lot of drama to unpack there." Williams joined 'RHOA' in Season 5 and remained a popular cast member until Season 13 when she left. She then starred in 'Porsha's Family Matters,' her spinoff.

The second season of 'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,' which was shot at Dorinda Medley's Blue Stone Manor, aired on June 23. Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge from 'Real Housewives of Orange County,' Phaedra Parks and Eva Marcille from 'RHOA,' Brandi Glanville, and co-star Taylor Armstrong from 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' and Jill Zarin from 'RHONY' were among the other cast members. Porsha's former co-stars Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore, Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps from 'RHONY,' Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice from 'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' and Kyle Richards from 'RHOBH' appeared on the inaugural season of 'Ultimate Girls Trip,' which premiered in November 2021. It was shot on a vacation in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Why is Tinsley Mortimer getting replaced on 'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' Season 3?

Tinsley Mortimer is not participating in this one. After all, she will not be appearing on Season 3 of 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip'. She was invited to come on the show a few weeks ago and was thrilled, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively on Thursday, July 14. Unfortunately, she already had plans for the summer that she couldn't change in order to participate, therefore she will not be joining the 'Girls Trip'. In June 2020, the socialite left 'The Real Housewives of New York City' in the middle of Season 12 to relocate to Chicago with her then-fiancé, Scott Kluth. The pair parted ways in March 2021.

Williams joins the show after leaving 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' before the Season 14 premiere in May. Kandi Burruss, a longtime Housewife, told Us that she was initially concerned about what 'RHOA' would look like when Cynthia Bailey and Williams left. Williams announced her departure from the series in September 2021 on Instagram.“After 10 life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter. Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise,” she wrote with a carousel of nostalgic photographs from her tenure on the Bravo show.

'Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' Seasons 1 and 2 are now available on Peacock.
