'Pitch Perfect' to 'Pooch Perfect', Rebel Wilson will soon be hosting a dog grooming competition called 'Pooch Perfect' on the ABC Network. The series is based on the Australian show of the same format which was also hosted by Rebel Wilson.

Plot
Here's how ABC describes the show: "The eight-episode series will showcase 10 of the best dog groomers in the country, along with their assistants, competing in a series of paw-some themed challenges. Each week on 'Pooch Perfect,' teams will compete in the Immunity Puppertunity challenge, where one team will earn immunity from elimination. Then, in the Ultimutt Challenge showdown, the remaining teams will face off in an epic grooming transformation, which they will show off on the illustrious dogwalk."
The top three teams compete for a generous cash prize and, of course, the coveted 'Pooch Perfect' trophy. The trio of all-star celebrity judges include reality star Lisa Vanderpump, celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky and Dr Callie Harris, critical care veterinarian.
Cast
Rebel Wilson
Rebel Wilson has previously hosted the Australian version of 'Pooch Perfect'. Rebel Wilson is perhaps best known as 'Fat Amy' from the 'Pitch Perfect' franchise. The Australian actress took Hollywood by storm with her comic skills in films such as 'Bridesmaids' and 'A Few Best Men'.
She then went on to star in several comedies such as 'What to Expect When You're Expecting', 'Struck by Lightning' and 'Bachelorette', which led to Variety naming her one of their 'Top Ten Comics to Watch for 2012'. In 2019, she starred in her first lead role as Natalie in 'Isn't It Romantic', and later appeared as Fraulein Rahm in 'Jojo Rabbit'.
Lisa Vanderpump
Lisa Vanderpump, who is perhaps best known for 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', will be one of the judges on 'Pooch Perfect'. Vanderpump is known for her love for animals and runs a dog rescue foundation, 'Vanderpump Pets', with her husband. The foundation was inspired by their pet Giggy. Vanderpump also launched a campaign called 'Stop Yulin Forever', which has helped to stop the dog meat trade in Asia and end the Yulin Dog Meat Festival.
Jorge Bendersky
Jorge Bendersky is a New York-based celebrity dog groomer and the author of the bestselling book, 'DIY Dog Grooming, From Puppy Cuts to Best in Show, Everything you Need to Know'. He is also known for his deep commitment to animal welfare and rescue.
