'Plastic surgery going too far': '90 Day Fiance' star Stacey Silva receives backlash for face and body makeovers
MIDDLETOWN, CONNECTICUT: '90 Day Fiance' star Stacey Silva recently shared a video of herself flaunting her body on her Instagram page.
"Super star status," she wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. She can be seen wearing a black dress in the video.
In the past, Stacey and her twin sister Darcey have undergone multiple surgeries including rhinoplasty, BBL, and more to improve their physical appearance. The sisters are well-versed in the world of cosmetic surgery. In Season 2 of their spin-off show, they headed to Turkey to undergo plastic surgeries and get full makeovers.
Soon after Stacey posted, social media users began talking about her surgeries in the comments section and asked her to stop with the surgeries.
One user wrote, "You and your sister need to stop with the surgeries cause it’s getting bad."
Another social media user echoed the same sentiment, writing, "I love Darcy and Stacy but I worry that plastic surgery is going too far to the point of deformity. I know it’s hard to see it when you don’t want to see it."
The same person further wrote, "I hope they realize beauty is inside of them and not outside of them. Nothing wrong with wanting to look beautiful but think about your kids. Please!"
A third user chimed in, "Telling them to stop with surgeries won’t help. The doctors need to start refusing them. They have body dysmorphia and need psychological help at this point."
The same person further guessed, "They aren’t seeing what other people see when they look at themselves and it’s obvious. The doctors doing this should be ashamed. They are trained to look for signs and not let people do this. It’s malpractice and unethical."
Followed by a fourth user, who penned, "She looks like a Bratz doll."
A fifth user commented, "What the hell is wrong with her mouth?"
A sixth user added, "Imagine having everything about you surgically changed. AND YOU STILL USE FILTERS."

How much money did Stacey Silva spend on plastic surgery?
During Season 2 of their show, which aired in 2021, Stacey and Darcey underwent full plastic surgery makeovers in Turkey,
The prices of their plastic surgeries are as follows: Rhinoplasty ($4,110), breast implants ($3,836), BBL ($4,110), and Vaser lipo ($3,836), per In Touch Weekly.
When we talk about their package, it also covered extra lipo areas such as inner thighs, arms, and chin for an additional $411 a pop.
Along with this, the twins also got lip lifts and the Hollywood Smile veneer package, which cost them around $6,800. Both of them spent $20,000 each for their makeovers.
Why did Stacey Silva undergo plastic surgery?
It looks like Stacey and her twin sister Darcey underwent plastic surgery to enhance their physical appearance.
Darcey spilled the beans on the duo's decision to get plastic surgery done in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight in July 2021,
At that time, Darcey said, "We wanted everything lifted up on our bodies."
She further added, "Everything's just lifted up. We got a little lip lift, a little nose lift, a boob lift, you know, snatched in the waist. Everything's just a little bit more refined. We feel lighter."
Stacey chimed in, "We did a lot of research on the doctor and the clinic that we chose and we are so happy with the results ... and the care that we had. It was like, five-star treatment. We've had surgery in Beverly Hills in the past, and Miami too, but for us, this was different. And for us, the best experience."
Stacey Silva was recently slammed for announcing $3K ticket for 'Reality Stars Weekend'
Earlier this month, Stacey and Darcey announced a Reality Stars Weekend. The event, set for three days and two nights, will take place in Sin City, Las Vegas.
For the event scheduled for December 2023, the TLC stars have different packages for different tickets. The tickets for the Reality Stars Weekend cost $2995.00 per person.
However, fans could get a discount of $200 per person if they booked the ticket before October 11. Netizens, however, found the tickets to be very expensive and they bashed these stars in the comments section.
