'Pit Bulls & Parolees' Season 16 Episode 3 Preview: Meet Marble, a dog that's rescued all the way from Kuwait
Though the Villalobos Rescue Shelter is located in Assumption Parish, New Orleans, and prefers to handle local rescues, occasionally, they will make exceptions for special circumstances. Tia Torres and her family are about to meet Marbles, a pit bull from Kuwait with a story that's about as exceptional as they come.
This week's episode titled 'Rescued From War', sees the Villalobos team rescuing a pit bull named Marbles who has been flown in from the other side of the globe. Marbles is a rescue dog from Kuwait and has been saved from traumatic experiences that happened in the region. Marbles, unfortunately, does not have a home, but the Villalobos team are more than happy to take him in after hearing his story and work to find an all new home for him.
However, that does not mean they're forgetting about the problems that are closer to home. When a stray dog wanders onto the compound, Earl takes it upon himself to find its owner and return his dog to him. Given that in this season alone we've seen a number of abandoned animals who are mistreated by their owners, this may be a difficult task that Earl might not be able to see to its completion. In either case, however, the dog is in good hands, as there are few people who care about dogs' well being as much as Earl.
The official synopsis for the episode reads: "Tia takes in a pit bull that was rescued from awful conditions in Kuwait. Meanwhile, when a stray dog arrives at Villalobos, Earl is determined to find the owner." A preview last episode shows Tia Torres marveling at Marbles, who has made a journey around the world just to wind up in the Villalobos Rescue Shelter. Torres has seen a lot of brave dogs in her time, but Marbles might just be one of the bravest she's ever had the chance to meet.
