What is the plot of 'Parasyte: The Grey' aka 'Gisaengsu: Deo Geurei'?
In 'Parasyte: The Grey' aka 'Gisaengsu: Deo Geurei', a bizarre event occurs when strange parasites rain down from the sky. These parasites infiltrate humans, using them as hosts and posing a threat to humanity by both infecting and killing them.
As the parasites organize themselves, humans are forced into a battle to prevent their world from being overtaken.
Jung Su-In (Jeon So-Nee) becomes a unique case when a parasite attempts to control her but fails to take over her mind. Instead, Jung Su-In and the parasite find themselves coexisting.
Meanwhile, Seol Gang-Woo (Koo Gyo-Hwan) embarks on a mission to track down parasites in hopes of locating his missing younger sister.
At the Centre of the fight against the parasites is Choi Joon-Kyung (Lee Jung-Hyun), the leader of the parasite task force. Her determination to eradicate them stems from the loss of her husband to the parasitic threat, making it her life's mission to eliminate them.
The official synopsis reads, "When unidentified parasites violently take over human hosts and gain power, humanity must rise to combat the growing threat."
