After it's premiere at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival audiences knew there was something special about it. Regardless of it losing out on the night's big prize, 'CODA' has won long-overdue recognition from within the film industry, especially for its casting. 'CODA' which stands for Child of Deaf Adults won hearts all over the world with its touching and real portrayal of the deaf community. An English-language remake of the 2014 French film 'La Famille Bélier' Sian Hader wrote and directed the 2021 film which won much much acclaim.
