Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan’s next is one of the most talked about biographical action-thriller films of 2023 named ‘Oppenheimer.’ Fans anticipation has finally ended as Nolan and makers revealed the first teaser-trailer. From the looks of the teaser, we can see that it has only widened the mystery and intrigue around the character of American physicist J Robert Oppenheimer which has been essayed in this period biographical action-drama film by Cillian Murphy.

The highly awaited biographical action-thriller film’s teaser opens up with a female character’s voice-over saying, “The world is changing. Reforming. This is your moment.” This in itself gives us a big hint of how something huge is going to happen in terms of scientific inventions which would have the power to change the world forever. Then we see another voice-over responding, “How can this man who is so smart be blind.”

In background we see images of a gigantic fire followed by a time countdown mentioning, “11 months, 17 days, 9 hours, 42 minutes.” Another voice-over mentions, “You gave them this power and created most important invention for world.” Then we see the slogan, “The world forever changes” along with a glimpse of Oppenheimer who is getting clicked by shutterbugs. Overall the teaser-trailer has smartly kept everything hidden under wraps by only piquing the excitement and curiosity of ardent fans to watch this visually captivating film in theaters.

Since the teaser-trailer got revealed, ardent Nolan fans have collectively shared how they all would surely be seated in theaters for this one and that one year is a long time for them.

Cillian Murphy’s first look as J Robert Oppenheimer was also dropped on the official 'Oppenheimer' handle. In the poster we see how Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) is fixing his hat and trying to hide his identity from the shutterbugs. It only is intensifying the beguiling aura around his personality and has raised the mystery element even more than before.



 

For people who are unaware, Oppenheimer’s first teaser-trailer was originally shown a couple of days back to theater audience who had gone to watch Jordan Peele’s horror film ‘Nope.’

‘Oppenheimer’ also boasts of a cast that includes Robert Downey Jr, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek and several others. The film has been adapted from the book ‘American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer’ originally written by Kai Bird and Martin J Sherwin for the film. ‘Oppenheimer’ releases globally in theatres on July 21, 2023. The film has been produced by Nolan alongside Emma Thomas and Charles Roven.
