Netflix has always had many releases during the holidays and one of its special genres is rom-com. This year, in addition to 'Dash & Lily', 'The Holiday Movies That Made Us' and 'Holiday Home Makeover with Mr. Christmas', the streaming giant is also releasing 'Operation Christmas Drop'. The sweet story chronicles the unfolding of a love story when a congressional side, Erica Miller, and an Air Force tour guide, Captain Andrew Jantz clash on the decision of whether or not to continue what seems to be quite a heartwarming mission. In her journey to figure out whether a, air force base facility should be defunded, Erica finds herself in a "seasonal secret" and although spends time away from home, has an exceptional Christmas. Plot
The synopsis reads: "At the behest of her boss, congressional aide Erica Miller is forced to miss Christmas with her family. Assigned to a beachside air force base to find reasons to close the facility, Erica comes to blows with Captain Andrew Jantz, who disagrees with her assignment."

Kat Graham as Erica Miller
Graham is known for her roles as Samantha Sutherland in 'How It Ends' (2018), Demyra in 'Cut Throat City' (2020), Jada Pinkett in 'All Eyez on Me' (2017), and of course, Bonnie Bennett in 'The Vampire Diaries' (2008-2017). Her recent works include 'Where's the Money' (2017), 'Compassion Can't-Wait' (2018), 'Eye for an Eye' (2019), 'Fashionably Yours' (2020) and 'Emperor' (2020). She has an announced release titled 'TrollsTropia' (2020) in the works with a release titled 'Sunflower' in pre-production. 'Operation Christmas Drop' isn't the first Holiday movie Graham has been a part of. She also played the role of Abby Sutton in 'The Holiday Calander' (2018) and 'The Knight Before Christmas' (2019).
Alexander Ludwig as Captain Andrew Jantz
Ludwig is known for his roles as Bjorn Lothbrok in 'Vikings' (2014-2020), Cato in 'The Hunger Games' (2012), Shane Patton in 'Lone Survivor' and Dorn in 'Bad Boys for Life' (2020). His other works include' Swerve' (2017), 'Midway' (2019) and 'Peace' (2019). He has two releases titled 'Swing' and 'Night Teeth' in post-production and a release titled 'Heels' in pre-production.
The rest of the cast includes Virginia Madsen as Congresswoman Angie Bradford, Aaron Douglas as Daniel Sampson, Trezzo Mahoro as Joker, Xavier de Guzman as John Michael, Aliza Vellani as Sally, Rohan Campbell as Travis and Jeff Joseph as General Hatcher.
