'October Faction': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about the sci-fi drama on Netflix
If you haven't had enough of monsters, magic, and gore, Netflix is here to scratch that itch. In addition to 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', get ready for the release of 'October Faction', a sci-fi drama series about monster hunters based on the comic series of the same name by Steve Niles and Damien Worm.
Release date
The first season, consisting of six episodes, will be released on January 23, 2020 on Netflix.
Plot
'October Faction' follows the story of Fred and Deloris Allen, two globetrotting monster hunters who are also married to each other. After the death of Fred's father, the Allens return to their hometown in New York with their children, Geoff and Viv Allen.
As the family tries to adjust to their new life, Fred and Deloris also have to try and hide their identities as the members of a secret organization that hunts monsters. When the Allen family discovers that their new small-town setting is not as peaceful and trouble-free as it seems, they have to put up a united front to deal with the dangers coming their way.

Tamara Taylor is a Canadian actress known for her roles in 'Bones', 'Hidden Hills', and 'Altered Carbon'. She plays the role of Deloris Allen in 'October Faction'. Deloris is married to Fred, and mother to Geoff and Viv Allen. She is also a monster hunter.
JC Mackenzie
JC Mackenzie is a Canadian actor known for his roles in 'Dark Angel', 'Vinyl', and 'Madam Secretary'. He plays the role of Fred Allen, who is a monster hunter and is married to Deloris.
Gabriel Darku
Gabriel Darku is an actor known for his role in 'Impulse'. He plays the role of Geoff Allen, Fred and Deloris's son.
Aurora Burghart
Aurora Burghart is an actress known for her roles in 'Sex Education' and 'The Stranger'. She plays the role of Viv Allen, Fred and Deloris's daughter. 'October Faction' also stars Wendy Crewson, Megan Follows, Stephen McHattie, and Maxim Roy.
