Emperor Palpatine's brief but impactful cameo hit fans hard. 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' finally ended its six-episode run but gave enough surprises that will have fans talking about it for a long time. After a decisive battle against Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) for the second time after Episode 3, the show also gave one of the most iconic villains of 'Star Wars' lore a chance to spook fans.

Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker was left for dead by Obi in their final skirmish and was retrieved by Palpatine making it the last time he was seen in connection to this particular show. Anakin was taken to Coruscant and his burnt body was treated and covered with the suit and helmet which, by the way, took some heavy damage when he faced Obi-Wan the second time,

For some, it was just the sheer amount of surprises. Prior to the episode's release, one of the fans predicted a Palpatine appearance. "Alright Obi Wan Kenobi. Surprise me. I think we are about to witness something incredible.
