It was bittersweet when Pledis announced that NU’EST would be disbanding right on their 10th debut anniversary. Fans were disheartened as we barely got any comebacks in the last few years after HYBE acquired the label. From the behind-the-scenes clips of NU’EST’s final comeback ‘Needle & Bubble’, the boys were also cheery which had fans wondering if they even knew they were going to be disbanded.

However, the boys are now flourishing on their own as they have gone their separate ways but have still not forgotten NU’EST and their fans. In fact, in a recent podcast, Aron got brutally honest about the aftermath when the boy group competed in the survival show ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ which formed the project group Wanna One with member Minhyun. Well, the boys are booked and busy as two of them have new agencies and have solo gigs like JR, Baekho, and Ren.

JR signs new label while Aron to hold fan meet

Well, after Ren joined BPM, home to Viviz and Soyou, JR became the next NU’EST member to find a new agency. Going by his real name, Jonghyeon signed with Evermore Entertainment on May 16. They shared that they were signing on the idol as an artist to help him showcase a range of activities from being a musician to an actor. He had expanded his acting career by getting his first major role in the idol drama ‘Let Me Be Your Knight’ in 2021 alongside U-Kiss’ Jun, AB6IX’s Donghyun, and Wanna One star Jisung.

At the same time, it has been announced that Aron’s first solo fan meet was sold out in seconds proving his popularity as a K-pop idol. The former NU’EST member had shared that he would be hosting ‘2022 AARON B-Party’ with fans to celebrate his 29th birthday on May 21. The event organizer confirmed that in both rounds of the ticket sales for the fan meeting, it was sold out in almost 40 seconds. This is his first solo gig after leaving NU’EST. Aron will be meeting fans on May 21 at 2 pm KST (1 am ET). The idol was extremely touched as he shared that meeting his fans was already the best birthday gift that he could have.
