'No Time To Die', Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond is one of the most anticipated movies of 2020 and the first official trailer of the film has dropped. The trailer sees James Bond away from active duty joining the fray again to take down a villain who has a God complex.

Rami Malek's Safin goes toe to toe with Bond in the trailer, but the confrontation, at least the part that was featured in the trailer, is a lot more subdued than expected. However, there is a lot of action sequences with stunning visual backdrops.

The film uses the beautiful city of Italy's Matera for its edgy car chases and that Ashton Martin definitely looks stunning -- as usual -- however, Bond is somehow different. He doesn't trust anyone and he is clearly disillusioned about being an agent.

The trailer hints at how Bond gave up everything in exchange for living a quiet life with the woman he loved, but somehow, he got the shorter end of the stick. He is coaxed into returning to work for the British intelligence agency by his friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright).

We hear a voiceover about how, "The world is arming itself faster than we can respond." This hints at how the movie will be fighting technology in the hands of a wrong man, someone exactly like Safin.

Amid all of this, we also get our first look at Lashana Lynch's character Nomi. It has been widely speculated Nomi has taken up the moniker of 007 in the absence of Bond and from the trailer, it looks like she is not ready to give in, not that easily at least.

She, in fact, says, "The world has moved on, commander." We see Bond ask if she was double O and she responds, "two years". She is serious about her mission and is ready to "put a bullet" in Bond's knee if he were to come in her way.

We also see Bond contact Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) who is held under the custody, possibly to seek a clue about Safin. We see Blofeld tell Bond, "James, you gave up everything for her. When her (Paloma) secret finds its way out they'll be the end of you."

What secret is he referring to here? It possibly has something to do with the white mask Paloma (Ana de Armas) holds in her hand with tears in her eyes. There is something between Paloma and Bond from the past, and when he returned to the double O section, all of his past feelings reemerge.

He may have once trusted her, but he doesn't anymore and that is clear from the very beginning of the trailer. Speaking of Safin, Malek's voice over about Bond sets the tone for what their confrontation would be like. Chilling.

He says, "James Bond. Licensed to kill. History of violence. I could be speaking to my own reflection. Only your skills die with your body. Mine will survive long after I am gone." We then see Bond respond, "History isn't kind to men who play God."

How can a 007 movie not have Agent Q? The trailer introduces Q who sees Bond and the first thing he asks is, "So you are not dead?" After seeing the state of the Ashton Martin after a shooting, we totally understand Q's frustration with the former 007.

The film sees Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, and Léa Seydoux return for this installment directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. Slated to release April 2, 2020, in the U.K. and April 10, 2020, in North America, the film is written by Fukunaga along with Neil Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
