Nicole Scherzinger breaks her social media silence after being axed from the X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger responded to X Factor cut with a glum picture from her vacation in Lake Como in Italy.

It was recently announced that Nicole Scherzinger has been dropped from the upcoming season of the X Factor as Simon Cowell attempts to completely revamp the show. The 'Pussycat Dolls' star has finally broken her silence about her being axed from Season 15 of the show. 

The 39-year-old is currently in Lake Como in Italy and took to posting a picture of herself looking rather glum on her Instagram. She captioned the picture, "Happy glorious Easter everyone! Its been raining non stop here in Italy, but when the sun rose today it shined so bright to remind us!"

Nicole Scherzinger is someone who is usually all smiles and was not her usual chirpy self as she sported a woolly hat and a pair of sunglasses. Her picture comes just hours after it was reported that she had been cut from the show. Many of the singer's fans took to sharing how disappointed they were and how much they would miss her on the show. 

One fan commented, "Bad move getting rid of you off XF!!" while another fan commented, "Have a lovely Easter we will miss you on X Factor."

It is rumored that long-time judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh may not return to X Factor either despite the fact that they have contracts. It is believed that Nicole Scherzinger could be replaced by BGT panelist Alesha Dixon, Kylie Minogue, or Mariah Carey.

An X Factor insider shared to The Sun, "Louis and Sharon are both contracted to return this year, but Simon and the producers have lost faith. They were both terrible on the panel last year. Louis has had a great run, but he’s advertising hearing aids for God’s sake. It’s beyond a joke."

"And Sharon couldn’t even remember some of her own contestants’ names. Nicole was a passionate judge but has no contract and won’t be back this year in order to bring in fresh blood."
