The series shows the difficulties endured by expatriates to integrate into a foreign culture. The series also addresses aspects related to family secrets and the realities of being an expat.

Viewers hail Nicole Kidman's performance in 'Expats'

The series is getting well-received for its nuisance depiction of trauma-stricken families and how it impacts the lives of those affected. The six-part series has received positive reviews online, with many fans claiming to be watching it solely for Nicole Kidman.

Will there be a second season for the 'Expats?'

With good reception and positive reception for the first two episodes, viewers are wondering if the show will return for a second season. Currently, the production company has not made an official announcement regarding the show's second season.

However, it would be fascinating to watch how Margaret (Nicole Kidman), Mercy (Ji-young Yoo), and Hillary (Sarayu Blue) handle their personal lives.

The second season might delve further into Margaret's comeback to her profession as a landscape architect, where she can live as herself, free from all external obligations.
