Nicki Minaj hits No 1 with surprise drop ‘We Go Up’: ‘No video, no promo, queen s**t’
Nicki Minaj, it seems, has made up her mind to own 2022 as after a slew of hits like ‘Blick Blick’, ‘Bussin’, and ‘Do We Have A Problem?’ the Queen of Rap surprised dropped a new single called ‘We Go Up’ on Friday, March 25. Nicki joined hands with rapper Fivio Foreign on her latest piece and quickly took the Internet by storm.
‘We Go Up’ within an hour peaked at the numero uno spot on US iTunes, a news that was shared by both Nicki and Fivio on their respective Instagram accounts. This comes after the 39-year-old emcee did not even aggressively promote the track and also did not drop a promo or a music video. Nicki Minaj had last dropped a single called ‘Blick Blick’ with Coi Leray just a week ago. Speaking of her album, the multi-platinum rapper had last dropped her full-length project in 2018 called ‘Queen’.
