Time waits for no man, machine, or AI, but when it comes to the World Series, even Paul LeBlanc (John Slattery) is going to be making an exception. The high-tech thriller is on hiatus, as the World Series premieres on FOX this week, leaving the hunt for the rogue AI up in the air for now. Not to worry, though, for those of you who can't wait another week to find out what happens...well, next - all three episodes of the series are available to stream on Fox.com, and on Hulu.

In Episode 2, after identifying the AI threat and its malevolence, Paul LeBlanc and Shea Salazar (Fernanda Andrade) made their first steps into fighting back against the AI. The AI is very much aware that Agent Salazar is a threat, attacking her where it hurts the most - in the safety of her own home. The AI's target is her very own son, Ethan (Evan Whitten), but though Ethan's going through a rough time in his life, he's got just enough sense in his head to be able to resist the AI's influence. Ethan is used as bait and with his help, Shea and Paul are able to trace the AI to an address in Dartmouth, New Hampshire and that's where Paul and Shea are headed next.

On the next episode, while Paul and Shea investigate Darthmouth, Shea's husband Ty (Gerardo Celasco) takes their son Ethan on the run. It's not so easy to hide from an AI with full access to the Internet, however, and it's not long before Ty and Ethan are running from not just the AI, but from the police who believe that Ethan's been kidnapped, thanks to Next. The AI's influence seems to know no bounds and Shea and Paul are, for the moment, still very much two steps behind it.

The synopsis for the next episode reads, "Shea and LeBlanc head to Dartmouth to investigate NEXT’s whereabouts, which are potentially linked to Biomotion Labs. There, they visit LeBlanc’s friend, Professor Richard Pearish (Michael Herzovi) for answers. Meanwhile, Shea, Ethan and Ty take extra precautions to disconnect from electronics and the Internet and LeBlanc urges Abby to do so, as well, but NEXT complicates their plans."
